All Purpose Bakehouse is a fantastic bakery. Everything I’ve tried has been fantastic. When they were doing pop ups at liberty heights fresh before opening their brick and mortar they had a killer fig danish I hope they bring back here! The pan suisse so far is my favorite sweet pastry I’ve had though. The space is a good size with lots of seating that’s generally open on the weekdays but it’s been bustling and full on weekend mornings since opening. They have a full coffee menu and do a great job. They have a good selection of gluten free options that they keep separate from the rest of the pastries. Such a great addition to the neighborhood!

Absolutely obsessed with this place. The croissants were INCREDIBLE — easily the best I’ve ever had. Shatteringly crisp on the outside, buttery and tender inside, just… flawless.

They also had a blueberry frangipane tart on the menu — not something you see everywhere — and it was perfectly balanced. Sweet, nutty, bright, and not heavy.

The drip coffee was genuinely great, which is something a lot of bakeries phone in.

The space has a cool, relaxed vibe, parking is easy, and it feels like an ideal café ride stop — the kind of place you’d want to loop into a weekend bike route and hang out after.

Lastly, they have really cool merch. Love seeing a cropped option.

I’ve traveled all over Europe and it’s super hard to find bakeries with the same quality pastries in the US. All Purpose is a MUST in Salt Lake. The bakery is beautiful – I love the open display and the wood tables inside. The pastries are delicious with amazing lamination and the staff were so nice. The Pan Suisse was a favorite.

All Purpose Bakehouse is amazing! They do classic croissants so well. Butter croissants, almond croissants, pain au chocolat, savory croissants, other baked goods too. Look at that lamination!

The best kind of croissant that shatters into crisp, delectable flakes upon first bite, with tender and delicious interior. We tried ham & cheese, pan suisse, butter croissant, and chocolate chip cookie—loved them all. Planning to return to try everything else. Chai was also lovely—flavorful and frothy, not overly sweet. Live guitar music made it a perfect Sunday morning!

Paul Hollywood from GBBO would be so proud. Best pastries I’ve had in Salt Lake so far!! The crunch sugar topping is absolutely amazing. (Not pictured, the cherry danish I inhaled in less than a minute)

You know not every place is going to be a hit for everyone and unfortunately that was the case for me. I will say the staff were incredible and so friendly! The atmosphere was nice and the inside of the bakery was very cozy. I got the orange cardamom latte. Overall, it tasted burnt with hardly any orange or cardamom flavor. I got a large, which felt closer to a small, and the price was steep. I also got a gluten free pastry. I don’t know if this was because my pastry was sitting out for a while, but the gluten-free pastry I ordered was very gummy and wet. I love that they have gluten free options though.

The best pastries and matcha latte I’ve ever had in SLC, this place is definitely an every-weekend repeat! My favorites are the pain suisse (pictured with a morning bun) and ham & cheese croissant (not pictured because I devoured it).

Absolutely incredible croissants. My mom and I had what we thought were the best croissants in Switzerland until AP Bakery. We tried the raspberry almond croissant this morning still warm from the oven and it was delicious. Everything we’ve tasted is amazing. Perfection,

The best bakery in Utah! The cookies are awesome. Maybe the best cookie I have ever had. And I eat a lot of cookies. The perfect amount of crunch and chew.
The danish and sunrise bun were soft and full of flavor. Well done All Purpose Bakehouse! We will be back.
