Made my annual holiday trip to the Sleigh Shed holiday upgrade from the normal Train Shed decor. They have a special holiday menu for drinks both alcoholic and NA. Not much changed in the food menu, but the food is very good as well as service.
NOTE: I have only been here for lunch but I think the menu is the same. I had the flatbread as well as sandwich and the proportion was enough for me to have leftovers.
Holiday decorations are truly top notch. If you wait until dinner, you can enjoy more of the holiday festivities around Union Station

We had a soccer game at the City fields near Union Station. Decided to stop here for a quick lunch after the game. My Christmas loving daughter loved the decor. There is a full bar and a few TVs. The service was great and everyone enjoyed their meals. The food was good, but the prices were on the high side for a lunch.

This place is decorated so beautiful for Christmas!!! I love a good pop up theme. I visited here yesterday with my daughter and niece unexpectedly since we were already in the area. I’m happy we were able to get seated easily and it wasn’t no wait during that time. We went on a Thursday around 3:30pm. We just got drinks because we were already expecting to go eat somewhere else later. My daughter and niece didn’t like the hot chocolate though so they didn’t drink it. I asked the waitress if she can take it back and if they can get them something else. I was suprised that they didn’t add the soda to the bill, so I only paid for my drink:) That was nice of them to do that because kids could be so picky lol. I definitely will be coming back but maybe just with some friends instead. LOL

We had such an amazing time at Violet’s at The Train Shed – Union Station ✨

Yes, we waited about 45 minutes for our table… but it was Valentine’s Day, so honestly that’s not bad at all. The vibe was beautiful, the staff was super friendly, and the energy was just right.

Now let’s talk about the FOOD

I ordered the margarita pizza and added hot peppers + pepperoni (I forgot the exact name of the peppers, but listen ) and when I tell you it was a 10/10… BABY. So good.

We also had the smoked wings — and they did not disappoint. Everyone enjoyed their food and had a great time.

I’m not gonna lie, I was a little skeptical because I heard mixed reviews… but our experience? 10 out of 10.

If you’re free, make sure you stop by before they close. I believe the last day for the pop-up is February 28th.

Such a cute vibe. Until next year ✨

Excellent Beet Salad on the menu paired with toasted ravioli. Fresh ingredients and flavor. Highly recommend them both at a value price. Unique location to grab a quick dinner at Union Station.

Food was great and served hot. Service was very good, and the atmosphere was cozy with big booths for groups.

The Braut burger was very good. Loved the German mustard. Kids had the Mac and cheese entree and said it was awesome. Wife got the flatbread and it was really good. Great flavor and crispy pizza crust.

Great experience all around. Will be back.

After visiting the Aquarium (way overpriced) we decided to have lunch at the Train Shed (Sleigh Shed) and our experience was the same as last year. It is decorated beautifully for the holidays but the food and service are lacking. My grandson order a cheese pizza and it looked exactly like the Red Baron ones that Walmart sells. My brisket chili was ok but the burger my daughter ordered was way overcooked and crunchy around the edges the only thing good was the waffle fries. After being seated we had a wait until our server showed up. She was pleasant enough but from the time we ordered until we had our food was over 30 minutes and they weren’t packed. Then we had to wait for her to appear again to ask for boxes. All in all we were there for 90 minutes and even with games it was way too long for two 7 year olds. Next year we wl probably skip going there.

I had seen this on a social media post and wanted to see all the Christmas decorations for myself and we were at the Aquarium for a Homeschool event so I talked my daughter into checking it out. First and foremost the decorations are amazing and so beautiful so for that they got 5 stars for atmosphere. Then we were shown to a table and that’s where our experience went downhill. They had plenty of staff because I had 10 minutes or better to watch other tables getting service that appeared to be topnotch. I finally flagged down the hostess and inquired if there wasn’t a server for our table available and she said she was right on it. Again we sat and watched as servers tended all the other tables around us. Finally a waitress came up and apologized and took our order but by then I was pretty upset and my grandsons were complaining about being hungry. When our drinks came they sucked their chocolate milk dry and then didn’t want to eat their food. The food was okay but the wait and hassle of dealing with 2 hungry children diminished the entire experience. Our waitress seemed very sweet but someone dropped the ball.
Again the decorations are awesome but I was pretty disappointed by the rest of the restaurant experience.

Driving through St Louis and wanted something good for dinner. Looked on Google and we d found this place. It is a very nice establishment in a very fun place, Union Station. Very clean and service was very good. The food was good, lots of garlic and parmesan. I would suggest the pork chop and the ravioli for starters. This place is definitely worth checking out.
