We tried this spot while in Covington and it was a pleasant surprise. The table chips and salsa were really good. The chips were thin and homemade which came to the table hot and the salsa was delicious. I got a shrimp taco salad and yuca fries but were fresh and tasty. I’ll definitely come back. The hubs got birria tacos which he also liked.

Ordered the birria ramen for delivery. It arrived fresh and hot. Tasted great! I wish I had gotten some lime wedges alongside though. No utensils included. I’d order again!

Absolutely love this place! I have been looking for a new Latin restaurant that wasn’t a chain and I’ve been here twice this week already! Everything is reasonably priced and the portions are enough to eat on twice. Everything came out fresh and the staff was so helpful, we will definitely be back!

I ordered the Birria tacos and nachos supreme. The food was pretty good, but I feel like the tacos could use more seasoning- lacks bold flavor. Overall, love the portion sizes and presentation!

Wonderful owners and really delicious Mexican food. Birria tacos are my favorite as are the street tacos. The shrimp fries are exceptional and can feed 2-4 as an appetizer. Plate presentation is wonderful. The Salas queso and assorted condiments are really tasty. A great place for family meals and get togethers.

My sister and I had lunch here today. I can’t say enough good things! The atmosphere and service were phenomenal. The food was off the charts good! It was fresh, delicious and well presented. There are options for everyone, even vegan and vegetarian. I will be back! And I am excited to have a new favorite restaurant when I’m in Covington!

This place is wonderful! Fantastic Food! Not the best picture of our nachos since we already started to devour them! My 5 year old will ask to come here or the food truck at least once a week; it’s so good! Empanadas are delicious!

Great little restaurant tucked in an inconvenient strip mal …BUT worth negotiating through traffic. Delicious food and gracious staff. Birria tacos, black beans & maduros (fried, ripe plantains) and street corn are a go to’s for me. If you’re hungry for dessert, try the guava empanadas. Your support of this location is important.

Food is delicious; just a little slow when there are no people here. Don’t know why it hasn’t caught on, but maybe it’s just the out-of-the-way location. Please give it a try; hate to see a great Mexican place like this go away.
