Great location and view of the river! Food was OK. Drinks were good with a good selection. Enjoyed sipping on a Moscow Mule and had the fish tacos. IMO they had a fishy taste which is not enjoyable to me. If we returned I’d definitely try something else.

The atmosphere is great, especially on a beautiful sunny day. The food is good though I’ve had better Chislic. That’s why the food got 4 stars. The blended Megarita is pretty much the only drink you’ll need. Great service from friendly, professional staff. I recommend this establishment!!

In town for a funeral, beautiful restaurant right on the banks of the Missouri River! We got the baked walleye (excellent) and the walleye tacos (very good). Service was good. Drinks were very good. My Wife loved the Grapefruit Martini. Don’t make it to Pierre often but will definitely go back if we do!

Visiting Pierre, SD for work and we were stoked to discover Drifters. Beautiful location on the river! Portobello burgers were excellent, Chef Jon! Drinks were fantastic, Bartender Cam! And had welcoming and wonderful server, Sam!

Went for dinner while out of town for work. Sat at the Bar. The bar tender was very friendly and helpful. Ordered the chislic for an appetizer was done how I requested and very tasty and the drifter sauce was a nice touch swapped the fries for the coleslaw that was a bit dry I would stick with the fries. For the entree I got the chimichanga very good lots of meat could have been fried a bit longer IMO with home made chips everything was well presented and very tasty. I would recommend.

Found this gem right on a beautiful new constructed marina, on the shores of the Missouri river.
All the servers were extremely attentive and friendly, the manager besides very professional.
To top it all, I order my food to go and got private security all the way to my nearby hotel (the most beautiful and lovely outdoor cat that you can imagine followed me)
I should visit drifters again soon hopefully.
In the meantime, highly recommended for sure (menu is bigggg and flavor is yummy!)

This is a very nice restaurant on the banks of the great Mirrouri River on Teton Island in Fort Pierre. ( this spot used to be a Island before the river was rerouted to the east ). Great views of the river as you enjoy a great and tasty meal and there is also seating outside on a patio overlooking the marina. ( Have a great time as you visit us at Drifters Bar and Grille and enjoy your visit in historic Fort Pierre ).
