I really felt right at home. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food was good. I had the steak sandwich and they accommodated my dietary needs. The fried chicken sandwich was also a hit. It’s a very cool vibe. I believe the waitress said it best it’s like a combination of a speak easy vibe and Cheers :0) Not too crowded a layout and a good size bar.

We did visit on Sunday for comedy nights, and it was fun. We ordered a couple of drinks like jagerbomb, old fashioned, Jack and coke with French fries as appetizers, which was good. We ordered fish and chips, impossible burgers and brisket which was not cooked right. It was fun to enjoy your food with the comedian performing. Overall ambiance was good and so was service. It’s worth visiting again.

I attend this location frequently. It’s a positive environment with plenty of diversity. Located in the historic district of downtown Frederick. It’s led by a phenomenal management staff working around the clock. costumer service is impeccable. The bartenders are Friendly, charismatic, and definitely beneficial towards anyone seeking to make an appearance. Whether it’s brunch on a weekday, or a drink on the weekend, these group of individuals showcase top notch professionalism. 10/10 !

Cellar door is by far one of my favorite places to dine in at. The dishes are presented beautifully and the food always comes out hot. Also the staff are amazing and attentive they always made sure me and my partner’s glasses were never empty.

Its unfortunate that I read a review saying they treat people of colored skin a certain way and I still gave them the benefit of doubt… The review was accurate tho. I was taking my little cousins out to eat and our server alyssa didn’t give a welcoming vibe whatsoever, as well as her busser/barback or whoever the bigger brunette lady was. To begin, she recommended us the cheapest options as if we weren’t looking to spend on a good meal, served us terrible looks as she whispered to her coworker.. It was quite embarrassing actually considering I work in the industry as well and know how food service should really be. The food had 0 flavor whatsoever, my old fashioned was literally straight simple syrup.. On top of that she took my ID for 5 minutes and ran it into another room as if it wasn’t real, her reasoning was “Im sorry I just had to remember what year it was”… How are you a bartender/ in the industry but can’t even check an ID properly? If you’re a fan of terrible service, bland/ overpriced food, and bad cocktails. You’ve found the perfect place!

I have been coming here at night for the club like atmosphere for years. Never woukd u have imagined that this place would have such great food!!! Absolutely fantastic. They have always had great service even when busy on a Saturday night. They are well staffed and know how to keep the bar flowing.. Food here is excellent and they have real ingredients.. Do not miss out on the French onion soup. I believe it is the best in Frederick!!!! Come try it and let me know what you think!!!

This is a cozy quiet place perfect for dinner and drinks, wonderful collection of signature cocktails and unique beers. The lady at the counter very friendly and informative about the drinks and how they should be enjoyed. The gentleman however was not friendly and seemed like his mind was elsewhere or simply didn’t like me and my friends.
The food was well made but I don’t like raw carrots as a saladvegetable so I requested for lettuce or celery, to my surprise the nonchalant barman told me that I would be charged on the already overpriced wings!
My friend requested for flats only wings and was turned down! Hence the 3 stars.
But all in all it’s a great restaurant!

Really chill spot. The food hits the spot every time, and the three girl bartenders are awesome, super cool, quick with drinks, and just make the place feel fun. Easy place to hang out for a few hours without even noticing. Definitely coming back.
