I had a craving for barbecue so I went to Ramos. I saw on the door a plate special 1/2 chicken beef rib and sausage for like $15. So I got two plates and a brisket sandwich I even used the 10% coupon which was great. I got home to tear into my plate the chicken was as always tasty as was the sausage. But I noticed later that my half chicken was Leg and thigh which is NOT a half a chicken. My awesome deal was not and I paid $40 plus. What happened? I feel cheated and I doubt if I will be back.

We got the chuckwagon plate and we really enjoyed it. It says for 4 but gosh I feel like it could feed 10 persons it was amazing. My favorite was the ribs, chicken and potatoe salad!! Yum . The place looks like a little picnic scene, very outdoorsy and very cool inside.

Was having a not so great day but that quickly changed when I walked in and was Warmly Greeted by A Huge Smile and a Bubbly Personality Girl by the name Ismene. Who had the personality that didn’t allow me to continue my day without altering my view of the day. And suggested I get the plate ️ that had Chicken, Ribs , Brisket, Sausage, Rice ,Beans and potato salad but ended up have to take most of it home for a later snack .
Overall the best part was Ismene recalibrating my attitude to a positive outlook, I believe it made my meal experience better

There is a weird smell when you walk in but the six of us were able to find a big table to celebrate a birthday. I think the portion sizes were great. If you are extra hungry, get the stuffed potato. The rice tasted good and a little too fired. Other than that, the beans and meats were delicious!

Had not been to this place in years. I have a daily route which passes thru there. Decided I wanted to have some brisket so I ordered for curbside pickup. I was very disappointed with my plates presentation. onions and pickles were just on top of my potato salad, would’ve appreciated them in a foil or ziploc bag. I hate onions. the barbecue sauce was all over my potato salad…yuck, who likes bbq sauce on their potato salad.? Rice and beans were awesome, brisket was a little tough. I dont think I’ll be back 2 Ramos in another long while.

This was my first time here, I wanted to try a little bit of everything so I ordered the Cattleman’s plate ( brisket, sausage, beef rib, pork rib, chicken).
The beef rib was slightly dry but tender enough to bite easily off the bone and the seasoning on it was good, the chicken leg/thigh was very good I loved the tasty seasoned crispy chicken skin, the meat was soft and juicy.
Sadly after that everything else wasn’t as good, the pork ribs were extremely dry it was very tough to eat, the brisket was just okay it was sauced in bbq so I can’t review the meat flavor like the others but it tasted okay, the sausage tasted like a cheap type of sausage, the sides all tasted generic not bad but also nothing that stands out.
They serve you chips and salsa while you wait for your food which is always a plus, there was a very uncomfortable smell of drainage as soon as you get inside.
Overall I don’t see myself returning here, perhaps it was a bad day for some of my meats or perhaps that is just how they prepare everything, but for the price I paid I would have expected a higher quality of food.

Its mid, not super good or very bad but I got a normal chicken plate for 1person with a drink and it was like $22-24?? Not a unique quality or quantity. Decent and enjoyed my food for sure. Very kind people. Also very clean.
