Started off with the Chimis queso. This was my least favorite thing. It had a weird smoky flavor. The chips and salsa were good- salsa had a nice chunky texture and good flavor. I had the shrimp fajitas. It was six grilled shrimp on top of onions. I would have preferred a few more shrimp/less onions, but it was still filling. I did get the grilled zucchini and papitas for my sides because I wanted a change from rice and beans. Hubs got the chimichanga. He said he would get it again. I would probably get something else.

Cimi’s Mexican Restaurant on 81st in Tulsa absolutely delivered, and the highlight of our visit was the incredible service from the bartender, Adrian. From the moment we sat down, Adrian’s energy was warm, welcoming, and genuinely courteous. He clearly takes pride in his craft and in creating a memorable experience for guests.
He made me a jalapeño margarita that was not only delicious but also beautifully presented — a perfect balance of heat and flavor. It was so good that my fiancée ordered the same one but with watermelon added, and it took things to another level. Adrian nailed it.
For my meal, I had the street taco platter, and it was just as impressive. The tortillas were soft and warm without being soggy or tearing apart, and the meat was clearly high-quality, expertly seasoned, and perfectly paired with fresh toppings and flavorful sauces.
This place is a gem — we’ll absolutely be back. Ask for Adrian at the bar if you want a top-tier experience!

We did catering and Chellie Hill was amazing. She delivered on time, was so professional, efficient, went above and beyond. The food was hot and delicious. She brought all the extra things we would need. Very happy. Would do it again!

Went for Valentines day and had the absolute best time! The food was delicious we got the Valentines day special such a great deal! Our waitress Ashley was amazing we will be coming back and asking for her everytime the best waitress ever!

The environment is underwhelming. The booth we were sat needed restoration badly.
Our waitress was visibly annoyed at most things happening in the restaurant. From customers pulling out chairs that made noise. To the lack of basic manners. Even my six year old commented on how she didn’t acknowledge him when he would say thank you. It was just an odd dinner.
The food was 10/10!
Drinks were 8/10!
IF we returned we would make sure we didn’t have the same waitress.

One of our party asked for some onions on his enchiladas. For a few tiny onions, probably two cents or maybe a nickels worth, they added $1 to the ticket. On an earlier visit, the charge for a margarita, besides the cost of the drink, had an add on for “liquor tax”. The cost of a drink presumably includes all the costs, the alcohol, tax, any other costs. NEVER paid for a drink and then was hit with an additional charge for “liquor tax”. WATCH THOSE ADD-ONS.

To go order: The food was really good. This was my first time at this particular location. I did call in my order ahead of time & was there about five minutes late. I still had to wait, so I sat at the bar (which I’m the only one sitting there). No one asked me if I wanted anything to drink. I’ll order the exact same thing next time, though & take pics I was hungry!! *UPDATE* Went here last night & ordered to go. I got two beef & chicken nachos with grilled onions, peppers & cheese on top with all toppings on the side. Got ready to eat & the meat was completely left out of the bag. Called up there & went back to pick it up. The price was different from the last time, even though I ordered the exact same nachos. The manager was very courteous & understood my concerns about the price & also having to drive back up there. The food was very good like before & I’m changing my service rating from a 3 star to a 4 because of the manager. She voided my ticket & assured me they’d do their best to get it right the next time.

I tried this place over 10 years ago after having a craving for tamales and got the worst tamales I’ve ever had smothered in Texas chili. The only reason I went back was because I had a gift card. I was pleasantly surprised. I had the chili verde enchiladas and they were excellent. Have no problem returning to try other things now.

Great food and great service! If you’re hungry for some tacos, this is the place to go! Street tacos were delicious! They have Birria tacos as a feature right now and are sooo good! Can’t go wrong with the Baja shrimp tacos either. They even allow horses inside thank you Brandon Fischer for such a good lunch!
