Our first time here and oh my goodness, definitely not the last. Everything was incredible. The croissants are huge and flaky and buttery. The chocolate rye cookie totally blew my mind. It has such a deep dark chocolate flavor and the texture is perfect. I really wish I had ordered more. Chocolate chip cookie also amazing. The sourdough bread was excellent, chewy crust, and it made perfect toast for breakfast.
I’m already planning what to order next time we go. I would highly recommend !!

I really enjoyed the variety of items on the menu and the cozy indoor seating area. Everything looked so inviting and well put together. I also tried a cardamom bun that was out of this world — soft, fragrant, and perfectly sweet. Truly a treat!
If you stop by, do yourself a favor and grab a few pastries. They’re so good that it’s totally worth indulging a little!

This is one of my favorite bakeries in Pittsburgh, and the sandwiches are incredible, but they are only served on certain days, and only there until sold out. You have to get there early to get a sandwich. If you want to make your own sandwich, get some of the French rolls. The mini pies are also very good too, as well as the croissants. The bakery has the vibe of a little hole in the wall place, but very hospitable. They also serve coffee.

One of, if not the best bakery in Pittsburgh for laminated pastries and breads. Love the cardomom bun- best eaten fresh the same day. The lemon poppyseed pastry is also divine – they don’t skimp on the poppy seeds!
There’s basically always a line out the door, for good reason. The quality is consistently good. We’re so fortunate to have this in Pittsburgh.

We drove to this bakery on a Friday afternoon and loved how cozy this bakery is!
We got some croissants to share; they were flaky and pretty decent (although still not comparable with the ones I had in Paris). What I love about this place is their location in a quiet neighborhood and the cemetery around it—which makes dining in there very peaceful!
I love that they have quite some seats too. It’s rare that a bakery has some dine in options so definitely a plus!

I love this place. Delicious treats, sandwiches, and coffee. It’s fun to stay and enjoy the food at the bakery and there is a nice area to sit. I almost always see someone I know from the neighborhood. It has a wonderful neighborhood feeling. The pumpkin muffins! So good.

I love this bakery! It’s one of my favorites in Pittsburgh and the one I go to most regularly. All of the pastries are delicious, so I often have a hard time deciding what to get. For anyone who is having trouble deciding, I would recommend the chocolate pecan pie, the pumpkin muffin, or the ginger molasses cookie (or all three)!
I love that there’s an area in the back where I can work or read while munching on a pastry. I often bring a tote bag so that I can take a few pastries and loaves of bread home with me afterward. Everyone that works here is so friendly and helpful as well. On the weekends and even on weekdays, a line out the door is a common sight to see.

The food at Five Points is genuinely excellent — the baked goods, in particular, are outstanding and worth the trip on their own. Unfortunately, the service is consistently abysmal. The staff treat guests with a level of passive-aggressiveness that makes you feel like a third-class citizen, which really takes away from the experience. If only the warmth of the food matched the coldness of the service.

Great pastries, great coffee and service too! Came later in the day so they didn’t have much left, but still absolutely loved the cranberry oatmeal cookie flavor, one of the best I ever had! Also note that they stop most coffee by the afternoon, but the staff was super nice and still offered cold brew later in the day! Will be coming back to try more of their pastries soon!

Great little bakery in Pittsburgh. We went here based on other reviews and they did not disappoint. The blueberry almond danish and hazelnut croissant didn’t last long enough for photos, but they were absolutely delicious. We also bought their olive bread and it was also very good. The photo of the counter was taken on a drizzly Sunday morning approximately two hours after they opened. I highly recommend this bakery.
