We rented a condo for a week. This was the perfect location. Beautiful sunsets every night. Fun to watch the Dolphins. Conventient location on Seabrook Island

The seating… And we sat and we sat, and we kept seated. We thought maybe we’re on the wrong side of the bar. Service with a “smile” not hardly. This person wouldn’t even make eye contact, much less get our drinks and order correct. We were there long enough, waiting , that others joked about it ordering dinner, and yes they left. But her friends had all her attention, which was strange since she seemed adult enough to know better. We will not be back .

Kids food was reasonably priced and portions were solid. The seafood platter was not great and looked thrown together quickly, but tacos were fantastic. The view and atmosphere were also wonderful. I would probably go back just for that part of the experience.

The only game in town. Great bar setup, good bar food. Very pricey, but hey can’t beat their location, staff is friendly and as I mentioned they really are the only game in town. Good bar seats, nice table seating as well. All with a nice breeze.

Was our first time at Seabrook and eating at Pelicans Nest. We had a great meal, amazing view and our server, Katie, was fantastic! Go early as they don’t take reservations and have long wait times but it’s worth it. You do have to stay on Seabrook Island to be able to visit here so keep that in mind, it’s a private community.

Bit pricey but food was great and views were amazing. You do need a membership or the day visit pass ($55) to go here.

I’ve been coming to Seabrook Island for years. At least twice during our stay, we will eat at The Pelicans Nest. It’s never been fabulous, but some years are much better than others. The lowest point was last summer, when I ordered the peel and eat shrimp. When the shrimp were placed in front of me, I caught a whiff of something absolutely horrendous. I honestly wasn’t sure what it was. It wasn’t until I picked up a shrimp and started to peel it that I realized it was the shrimp. They were completely spoiled. It honestly smelled what I would imagine a dead body to smell like. it was absolutely horrible. We called the waitress over and she apologized and admitted that she had thought she smelled some thing as well. It’s so ruined our appetites we didn’t dare eat there the rest of the trip. I had to wash my hands about four times in order to get the smell off of them. I We are going back to Seabrook again in a couple of weeks and I’m honestly still a little apprehensive about eating here again.

Great food, the pics were from July 2020. Mahi Fish was phenomenal and so were the local shrimp and dry rub wings! Great views and food.
Updated, still very good. Bad reviews seem to be non amenity card renters. Went there again for lunch today and food was very good, service was excellent and the view is always incredible. Get the fried shrimp, local and so fresh

Setting is beautiful. However, my kids and I went to the cafe there for breakfast, and to say the food is overpriced is an understatement! 4 bottles of gold peak tea was $22! The food was HORRIBLE. My son and I got a sausage egg and cheese croissant. The sausage was so dry, and the sandwich itself was so hot we couldn’t pick it up, like they just nuked it in the microwave. My daughter’s got the Belgian waffle (which was not even a full sized waffle), and it was dry and hard, and they couldn’t even finish it. $100 in total for a breakfast that fell way under expectations. I seriously enjoy starbucks heated sandwiches better than this place. They really need to up their game on food if they want to charge such ridiculous prices. I can not say anything negative about the staff as they were very polite.

Nice atmosphere..located right on the beachfront and next to the pool at the Seabrook Island Club. Service was very good. Food was mostly good. Fish tacos are very very good…my daughter had an impossible burger which was very dry and very bland. We’ve also eaten lunch ..had the pretzel club which was as excellent and the salads were good as well. Top notch service from wait and bar staff.
