Well-maintained restaurant. You can tell from the outside that the owners put in time to make sure the store looks nice. The outside seems freshly painted and they keep the outdoor eating area clean and neat.
In terms of food, it was more on the pricey side. However my food was very tasty so I believed it was worth it. I couldn’t decide what to get, so I got the Torta Loca. This was a sandwich with sausage, beef, chicken, a fried egg, beans and more. It was pretty much a mix of everything they serve. This way, you get a little taste of each of their meats. It was very tasty!
Service was fast and friendly. If you’re in the mood for Mexican food, I recommend this place!

This place is fantastic. It has been great food every time, and the staff is always really wonderful. I guess to complain about sometime just to complain, all of their food is amazing, but I dislike their menu being up on the wall like it is. Other than that. This place is great!

Wow what happened here? Outdoor seating area is run down. $46 before taxes for a whole lot of iceberg lettuce Poppers tasted burnt. Burrito wasn’t good, rubbery meat, overcooked. Rice dry, Looked pretty. Fork times and knife were both bent. What the heck is happening at Las Palmas in Shelton. Cashier was nice. Something has really changed.

we loved this spot but can you remove the wooden toothpicks from the stuffed jalapeno poppers? My bf was so hungry he swallowed them before I tried it and noticed the toothpicks. He thought the bacon wrap was just extra crunchy but actually ate them. thankfully it’s 7 days later and nothing bad happened to him

Food was really good and prepared quickly. Fun and festive interior with much more generous seating than expected. Shrimp were very large and not over cooked. Only bummer is I asked for no sauces and it was smothered. I’d love to come back and dine in.

It was a toss-up between burgers and Mexican food. Las Palmas was well rated and we hadn’t been here yet. We were impressed, not a great look from the parking lot, but obviously the locals like it. Our Enchiladas and Carnitas plate were ready quickly, they were served hot and we got extra salsa – everything was tasty and the servings were large. We’ll be back here when we come through town.

Large portions and normal pricing for a Mexican restaurant. They gave chips and salsa right away which was very crispy and flavorful. I got the Sope, taco y tostada with each of their meat options and thoroughly enjoyed it! The pork was my favorite since it was in a delicious sauce. The Sope and tostada were perfectly fried without being greasy to the touch – seriously amazing. My fiance got a wet burrito which was just okay. We expected a creamy cheese sauce on top like some other places have but it was just a thin sauce with a tiny bite to it. The inside also had a lot of beans which was overpowering the chicken. The staff was extremely nice – they held the door open for a teenager on crutches and complimentarily replaced another tables’ burrito when a girl accidentally poured too much hot sauce.
