A cheeseburger at a Mexican restaurant? Sure, why not? It was really good! Not the best in the world (Chicago has dozens of excellent burger joints) but definitely the best in San Manuel and the surrounding area.
Reasonably priced – cheeseburger and fries, medium horchata = $15.60

I went to this restaurant this week and had a very nice visit until… I went up to pay and saw something very disturbing. I saw the cook at the food worktable/bench walk up with her phone. When she finished checking something on her phone, she then placed it on the food worktable and proceeded to put her hands into a bowl of food and then serve it onto a plate/dish. I felt sick to my stomach. She neither washed her hands or put on gloves after using the phone. Also, that phone should have never been placed on the same table/bench she is preparing food at. I think it would be hard for me to go back to that restaurant again knowing how proper food handling procedures are not followed. So sad when there are so few places to eat in this town.

I was very surprised with the quality of not only the Food but with the Service as well. Everything was Hot (Temp wise) and very tasty.
I am not a fan of Mexican food but this place helped me to appreciate it more than I did before

We really enjoy the fact that they serve breakfast from 10-11am, Monday-Friday. Not sure that is their favorite meal to make. They are closed Saturday and Sunday. Drive thru has been closed due to inability to find people to work. Most days there is one waitstaff to cover the restaurant. Food is good and waitstaff do great! We keep going back.

Visited here today with thirteen other hungry motorcycle riders. Excellent service, food was delicious. I had the combo #4, chili relleno, beef taco and a cheese enchilada that was reminiscent of the Tex-Mex that I grew up on in Texas. Beautiful ride from Tucson, will defiantly go back.

La Casita is a staple in my family the family that run it are great people. This is a place all of us locals LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Simply the best enchilada sauce an the planet no joke. Their salsa is amazing along with everythin else my husband and I have known most of the people there all our lives and love going there. When you walk in its like coming home cant think of one bad thing to say, keep up the hard but yummy work La Casita!!!

I do suggest the burrows at the la Casita cafe. But today I just had to have a burger and fries. The complementary chips and salsa made this a perfect small lunch.
