Good food but very uneven service. This summer my wife ordered a smaller cut of prime rib that said 22.99 on the menu but was 32.99 on the bill. The all you can eat fish fry is all you can eat but 1dollar a piece after 5 pieces of fish. I don’t know if it was the pandemic or what but we used to go there quite often 10-12 years ago during hunting season and it’s gone downhill quite a bit. The menu used to have triple the number of items that they have now.

Good service. Food was okay at best… my salad was about 12 pieces of really wet lettuce with 2 quartered tomato slices and 2 croutons. Cheese curds were still cold. Best part of the whole meal was the sweet potato fries.
Environment was more of an actual club/ dive bar than a supper club. Music was blaring so loud I couldn’t hear my girlfriend talk and we went at 5pm and sat in the dining area not the bar.

60 years ago I was there and the people were great, I just remember it being a bar way back then ! Went again about 15 years ago and the Prime Rib was to die for !! This place has been in their family for years !! Hats off to them for keeping her going !! ps I live in Florida so don’t go that often !!!

1 star because it was clean. Poor service, very poor service.. waitress came within 2 minutes to ask if we wanted anything to drink but then forgot to bring drinks for about 30 minutes. Then we sat another 15 minutes before she took our order, then my friend never got her order with ours because waitress forgot her pizza,, then 20 minutes after 2 of us were done eating she decides to tell my friend pizza oven is failing and then asked if she’d like something else… none of us will ever go back there again..

My first meal at BilMars was 52 years ago. Bill”s daughter runs it now and it’s very difficult to fill Bill’s shoes but Sandy is very much on track . We had an excellent meal and the best Bloody Mary I’ve had in years.

Secret of the north woods/iron range. Amazing prime rib, but you have to order early in the day. Ribeye excellent too. Try the JT wings -garlic and hot-yum!

They have delicious burgers and prime rib! They are a little drive from Hibbing. But well worth the trip.
