For 15 years now, we’ve been coming to RK Sushi, and somehow it just keeps getting better every single year. The quality, the freshness, the creativity, it’s consistently top tier.
Sushi Chef Peter is an absolute artist
, and June runs the place with so much heart. They’ve treated us like family from day one, and that kind of hospitality is rare. Honestly, that’s the second best part because the food is next level. Every roll, every cut of fish, every special, just incredible.
If you’re looking for amazing sushi and a place that truly makes you feel welcome, RK Sushi is it. Couldn’t recommend it more.

We come here all the time-the best sushi in town! I don’t eat raw fish, and they have great cooked options. Love the Marissa Roll and Spicy Cali Roll-both are delicious with just the right level of heat. My husband enjoys the raw selections, especially the Yellowtail Roll – super fresh, super tasty. We also never misses the Playboy Roll—the soft shell crab is amazing and the staff is always friendly and remembers us!

I recently celebrated my birthday at RK Sushi, and it was an unforgettable experience! Despite it being a busy Friday night, I was seated immediately without a reservation. The food was incredible and did not disappoint. While they offer an enticing all-you-can-eat option, I opted for a regular order and left completely satisfied without spending a fortune. The RK roll is an absolute must-try! Highly recommend this place for fantastic sushi and a great dining experience!

Really pleased! Ordered on a tablet at the table and the food came out super quickly. Not many drink options and it seemed to be more of a takeout place but the quality of the sashimi was great. I also ordered the protein roll (no rice) which was good, but I would get only the sashimi next time because it was so fresh. Great prices too! Will try the tuna sashimi and the salmon skin salad next time. Delicious miso soup.

A little loud, replaced old Waitstaff model with table side kiosk ordering. But food was pretty solid, salad is really good with my kama. Spicy ramen is legit albeit simple. Good miso, and pretty good hot sake for a good price

My husband and I have been going here for years. My classic has always been the RK Crispy (if you like deep fried rolls) and we always share a Marissa. Both have a little kick with jalapeño toppers. I tried the Fire Fire roll (baked) tonight and it was so good! The spicy tuna on top had a slight smoky taste that complemented the rear of the roll. I also tried the Playboy roll and the firecracker roll, both fresh and good flavors!

My family and I came in on a Saturday night. We were able to walk in and get a table for 6 people right away. They were very accommodating to my 4 kids and brought out their food right away.
The sushi was delicious and I loved the rolls we ordered.
We will definitely be back.

First time eating here while on vacation. This is one of the best sushi restaurants I have been to. Everything tasted fresh. We got here just before the dinner rush so it was fast service. The other great thing is that they offer fresh real wasabi. It was $2.50. But totally worth it. Next time we are in town we will eat here again. The staff was very nice. All of the food was priced right also.

A great place to dine. Our first time at this great little place. Family friendly and cozy. The crew here was not only efficient and skilled, they were funny. They made the meal a night to remember. My wife had the spicy ramen and loved it! We had a variety of rolls (5) and the sushi (sashimi) sampler. My daughter has eaten sushi all over Asia and pronounced this as good as she has had anywhere. The veg was fresh and crisp, the rice a perfect temperature. The tuna, whether spicy or not, was plump and plentiful. The rolls were tight and hefty. There was plenty of spice and heat used appropriately. They included a small cucumber salad and flowers with greens to adorn the board and it was perfect. We shared a small carafe of hot sake. Delicious!
For about a hundred bucks the three of us could not finish it. And we really tried! We had a good meals worth to take home. For my money I have paid a lot more for a lot less. I figure a date night would cost forty bucks and be impressive.
Worth the time and money. I’ll go back whenever I can.

Perfect sushi. No notes. The service is impeccable. 20% off sushi until 5pm AND its own parking lot? Hidden SD gem tucked away in Hillcrest. My wife and I visited on vacation and we ate lunch here TWO DAYS in a row. Locals, I don’t want to give away your secret but…
