The food is truly amazing, and the team members working the register are consistently sweet, kind, and welcoming. They create a lovely experience.
Unfortunately, my interaction with the manager was disappointing. When I brought to her attention that the hours of operation and phone number listed on Google (as shown on Apple Maps/iPhone) appear to be incorrect, she responded in a way that felt dismissive and defensive. Instead of acknowledging the concern or exploring a solution, she stated that it was not her responsibility and approached the conversation as though she needed to “correct” me.
As a business owner, I understand how important accurate information is for clients. My intention was simply to provide helpful feedback. However, the interaction lacked openness and accountability.
This is a wonderful space with great potential, but leadership interactions play a significant role in the overall customer experience. I hope this feedback is received in the spirit it is intended — to support the continued success of the business

Crema is located in a really nice area, close to the beach, with lots of other restaurants nearby, and there’s a parking lot right in front. I went on a weekday morning, so there were spots available, but I imagine it might be hard to find parking on the weekend. The place is super clean and cozy, with a few tables in the back, and the staff is very friendly. However, the girl who helped me in the morning was working alone, so things took a little longer than usual — but nothing major. I ordered a pistachio croissant and a limited edition strawberry matcha, and everything was delicious. It’s a bit pricey, but really tasty. The croissant was generously filled.

Crema has become one of my go-to spots for lunch, and it never disappoints. I come here often, and every time I’m reminded why it’s a favorite. The chicken sandwich is absolutely phenomenal—perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. It hits the mark every single time. Their lattes are just as impressive—smooth, rich, and consistently well-made, whether I’m in the mood for something classic or a seasonal flavor.
Beyond the food and drinks, the vibe at Crema is what really makes it stand out. It’s got that relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to hang out, whether I’m grabbing a quick bite solo or catching up with friends. Speaking of which, I’ve brought quite a few friends here, and every single one of them has left impressed. It’s always a solid recommendation.
The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and everything feels intentional—from the menu to the layout to the quality of ingredients. It’s clear they care about the details, and that makes all the difference.

Here’s the thing. Crema is clearly a local chain that sort of tries to capture the local coffee shop/cafe vibe but fails. The staff is great though I can sense underpaid. The coffee is average. I had a $12 açaí bowl that consisted of a teaspoon of granola, couple blueberries, a strawberry and some coconut flakes. Basically a bowl of purple slush. This is my 3rd Crema experience. Downtown FTL. Boca at Mizner and Lauderdale by the sea. All underwhelming. Might be management. Quality control. Cost cutting? Or just over expansion. Try to find a truly locally owned place that isn’t so focused franchising.

I work about 3 blocks from this place, so on my way to work, I used to place an order over the phone, make a quick pickup, and head to work. But this is the second time they have refused to take an order. The lady who answers the phone needs some manners. I don’t mind paying by phone to make it fair for both parties, but they say, “No, we don’t take orders over the phone,” and hang up. Shame the food is really delicious, but I will definitely not come back. It’s insane how you have to wait about 10- 15 minutes for a butter croissant.

I stopped by for a simple breakfast, an omelet and a coffee. The bill came out to around $25 with tip. When I looked closer, I realized a 15% service charge was already included, something that wasn’t clearly disclosed before paying.
I confronted the staff, and they did return the tip, but the pricing practice itself isn’t fair. If you’re already adding a service charge, it should be transparent and obvious to the customer, not something you discover after you’ve paid extra.
Because of this lack of clarity, I won’t be coming back. Honest pricing matters. It’s not the staff fault…
