Service was super quick and easy going. Prices are very reasonable and the quality of the fish tacos are superb. But if you visited Tacos Baja before well you already knew that. The tortillas used are full of flavor.
This is their new location just down the street. Place has been upgraded and is comfortable but some of the fixtures are fixes and not newly replaced. Seems like they haven’t quite dialed in the operations yet. Overall a very good experience.

So I’m a Spanish speaking gringo but I’ve never really been to Mexico. I say this because, though I’m really, really familiar and comfortable with the culture from growing up in La Habra, I don’t actually have first person data on “authentic Baja style”. With that out of the way, my friends that know better than me vouch for the authenticity and I’ll vouch for the delicious. We’ve been eating here for years and brought in all kinds of people who have all been impressed with the food. Yes, it’s just a Mexican style diner. Yes, it’s simple and fatty. It’s also cheap, well prepped, and reliable delicious. You can’t beat their combo meals with 2 tacos, white beans, white rice with a smattering of veggies, and a drink for roughly what you pay for a combo at Del Schmacko. Your arteries will harden but your mouth will love you and you’re a scary big eater if it doesn’t fill you up (I’m 6ft and over 250lb.). If you like good basic coastal Mex, do try them. Really, just do it.

They messed up my order on wed for their famous fisg taco deal by over charging me. but rodrigo handled it great. Been coming here for years and customer service and food is top tier thank u to rodrigo for making the situation right excellent customer service highly reccommend this place will forever be greatful

The fish tacos here never misses have to eat it fresh! Parking can get crazy on wednesdays, but there’s enough street parking to cover if the lot gets full.

Fried fish tacos are always great and these guys don’t miss. Good size pieces of fish with a nice light batter. The cocktail is pretty good also.

Great food. Dirty tables, dirty floors. They use recycled water to clean the tables from a bucket that sits there all day instead of individual towel and spray. As a result their tables are always sticky. I get that their food is a little messy to eat. But seems like people are constantly asking them to clean the tables. Nobody on the floor to take care of simple needs. Lemons run out. Somebody has too tell them. Basic attention to customer service.
