Reviews
What I love most is that this is the only place where I can customize my gukbap with different broth bases, proteins, and sauces. It is fun to build it in my own style. I kindly asked the chef for two sauces, doenjang and gochujang. Each one tastes great on its own, but the combination of the two was amazing. It has deep umami from the doenjang and a nice kick from the gochujang.
The broth itself is rich and complex, nothing like the simple MSG based broths that some other places use. The chef even offered me a taste of the soy and sesame soup base, and that blew me away. I love 콩국수(kongguksu), and the soup reminded me of that creamy and nutty flavor. I might try this soup with ice in it next time.
I will definitely come back to try more combinations and find my own perfect bowl. Highly recommended.
The servers are incredibly kind and friendly even the chefs or cooks will come chat with you if they have time, which makes the place feel very welcoming. You don’t even need company to enjoy a meal here.
What I love the most is the interior design. You can really tell they pay attention to every detail, not just the food.
The sides were really good as well. Also great atmosphere/decor clean bathroom.
Personally, the kimchi and soybean paste sauces were SO good.
Everything tasted incredibly clean and flavorful. I was honestly embarrassed at how thoroughly I finished my bowl — like, not a drop left
You HAVE to go and finish your bowl too!
The chicken gukbap at Andamiro felt like true Korean comfort food. The broth was deeply flavorful yet light, and the chicken was tender and satisfying. It’s the kind of meal that warms you up and makes you feel taken care of. Simple, authentic, and delicious.
