At Jimmy John’s, we don’t make sandwiches. We make The Sandwich of SandwichesSM. We use fresh vegetables because we don’t hate salads, we just feel bad for them. We ordered ahead for carry-out for a ballpark dinner during my husband’s softball tournament. We got 2 Giant Scicilians and 2 Giant Pizza sandwiches for our family of 6. Not giving water to customers that are buying food is poor service. When asking for water they now say they don’t have water cups. I’m sorry, but not everyone wants a soda, they want a simple water. Ordered a sandwich with a delay today about two hours ago to be delivered with a two hour delay to a hotel. Once I placed the order it said immediately out for delivery? I went to check outside my room door there was nothing …
Around the time of my delivery I never get any notifications or anything that my order left or delivered and finally it was 10 minutes after the supposed delivery I look outside my door and the sandwich is on the side where you can’t see it unless you go outside … who knows maybe it’s been there since 2 hrs ago ? Also I ordered a side of avocado spread and it was put on my tuna sandwich

I was absolutely famished when I came here yesterday for lunch after leaving Arlington.
This location wasn’t on the app for us to do mobile ordering for some reason. They do have a mobile pick up shelf inside. This location is located within a gas station / travel center.
Because I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free, I got the large #7 Spicy East Coast Italian, lettuce wrapped (unwich.)
Literal heaven. I probably could have (but didn’t) eat two.
Service was incredibly fast and they used a good amount of lettuce that kept all the toppings inside. Tables were also clean and service was nice.

Ordered a beach club it’s is supposed to come with avocado spread didn’t get that. Then I called to let them know hey I didn’t get what I asked for tho the team lead was nice it should not be overly complicated to get my sandwich replaced since your employees just didn’t put it on there. Also some of the turkey on my sandwich was dried out and almost hard as well as some of the bread being rock hard. I was really looking forward to this sandwich. It’s sad that you can’t get what you paid to asked for

The sandwiches are decent as it’s just another mediocre Jimmy John’s. I wouldn’t go out of your way to go to this shop unless it’s close by. The food is generally kept fresh, with some days here and there (often enough to be noted) where the tomatoes are soggy, bread is hard , onions are foul, etc.
Of course the prepackaged products are consistent, no complaints there. Cookies are always good, and the chips even better.
There was a golden age of this store where it felt like there was better management and more lively people. More consistent sandwiches, quality of product, customer service, and even better vibes (of course with some caveats here and there but those were easy to look over). Professional yet friendly and personal.
But, unfortunately, most of the familiar faces that made the shop enjoyable to go to seem to have left. What was once a community driven sandwich shop has turned into another soulless fast food joint with no character.
The reason for the one star is because I feel like those people are who made this place feel (and taste) like a five star establishment, and without them I can’t see myself wanting to go there anymore. Of course the food can be okay but why would I order here paying premium prices for food I can get that’s more consistent and fresh at other locations or sandwich shops. It’s a stark contrast that I don’t think I can look over, both customer service and quality.
TLDR; The shop is not what it used to be and there are much better options for the price. I wouldn’t recommend this store, even for those who are desperate for a taste of Jimmy.

Ordered delivery on the app. 40 minutes gone by, checked status. The app says it has been delivered, but there is nothing. After a brief conversation with the person at the restaurant, they have no idea where my food was delivered, but will redeliver. Great. Another 40 gone by, nothing. Asked for a refund. The refund was freaky fast.
