Just ate at this place for the 1st time. I have to say the tacos were great. I usually go to taqueria and this place is right up there with them. Actually I think the prices are better here. The salsa they have is really good. Green salsa is great and the red is great. Houston I think we have a new winner!

This is usually our go-to place for Mexican food. The staff is usually great. The food is usually better. But this time, they were both off. Our server was not on top of her game. I had to get up and take our drinks to get refilled. The waitress forgot to put in my grandson’s plate. We waited forever for extra napkins. The chicken enchiladas was one of our meals, and the sauce tasted like spaghetti-o sauce. So we thought maybe it was just this plate. My grandson’s cheese enchilada sauce tasted the same. The beef fajita burrito the meat was chopped up, so when they cooked it, it was overcooked. I’m sure we’ll be back, but they definitely need to do better. The 3 stars is about average, but this time it was definitely a 1 star.

Tasty Tex-Mex with large portions at reasonable prices. This is a family owned restaurant with freshly prepared food in a casual atmosphere with attentive service. This is the real, home cooked deal, no franchise fast food served here. It’s a popular breakfast and lunch spot with the locals(closes at 3pm). This was my first time to dine here, but local family members have been loyal customers for years. I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area.
