Our first time here was today, even though we’ve lived here for over seven years! My daughter wanted orange chicken and Yummy Bowl had it! The lunch combo was a super good deal and the egg flower soup was the best I’ve had so far! We came home with leftovers and my kid even tried things she normally wouldn’t try and loved it all!
They were also very good about being able to take spice levels down on the food for kids with pickings
The restaurant seemed pretty nice and well kept and the service was both fast and super nice!

We weren’t expecting alot so were delightfully surprised by this restaurant! We ordered the Family Dinner for Two and had an abundant meal. The entrees we got were exceptional, Beef Curry and Kung Pao Chicken. Both had delicious sauces, lots of veggies and succulent proteins. Fried rice was excellent. We weren’t thrilled with the appetizers, but have noticed over the years that some Chinese restaurants excel at Apps, others with the Mains. The thoughtful and responsive service, quality and quantity of food puts this restaurant on our rotation! Also, restaurant was very clean. (Could lower the lighting a bit, with a rheostat fir improved atmosphere.)

We found this special spot a few years ago and it has become our favorite restaurant in Newport.
The staff is always so kind, food is always amazing.
Portions are large.
We always get multiple dishes to share as a family and then have a whole second meal for tomorrow.
They deliver too so if your visiting the coast and want dinner delivered to your hotel this is totally the place to call!!

We were a bit skeptical given the name and it’s association with a local hotel. However we were delightfully surprised by the tidy, relaxing ambience, cordial and professional wait staff and the really excellent food. Beautifully presented, vegetables were perfectly cooked, the chicken and seafood flavorful and tender. A few of the locals also eating here might have seemed sketchy but don’t let that out you off. We were happy to have stopped here

Service could be a little better but the overall quality and flavor of the food gives it 5 stars. They we’re pretty busy so it’s understandable they missed refilling our drinks. Staff was still friendly and welcoming even though they were busy. Food portions were excellent. I’d recommend any of the lunch combinations served before 3:00.

Came here with my boyfriend. Good food, large portions, clean surroundings, good service. Cannot say a single bad thing about Yummy Bowl. Such a great experience. Highly recommend!!!

I really wanted to give this place five stars, but I can’t. The food was amazing and the staff was great, but the food portions were way to large, and there was no warning on the menu. Over all great place, but food size needs work.

Stopped in for lunch on Sept 6, and had their Orange Chicken lunch special with hot tea. It came with a cup of soup (I chose Egg Flower soup) and Orange Chicken, which was served with Pot stickers, deep fried bun and BBQ pork rice. Everything was delicious! The service was great, employees were friendly and made us feel so welcomed! I would happily return!

My order was delivered, so I didn’t experience the restaurant itself, but let me tell you about the food! We ordered 2 sweet and sour chicken dinners. Ours came with fried rice and crab puffs, if I remember right. The portions are HUGE. I’ve never seen anything like the portion you are given for one person! The food also tastes amazing and delivery was super fast!

Stopped in with the kids for dinner. Friendly staff, we were sat quickly. Drinks arrived fast. Strawberry lemonade was a big hit with the kids. Portions were very large! We split a sweet and sour chicken dish between the 3 of us and had a full portion left to take home. Also had the spring rolls. Food was delicious! Refills were very timely as well. Great experience all the way around. Can definitely recommend it if you’re in the area.
