Was in town for a Cavs game and came here due to the reviews of the lamb chops. My girlfriend had the Lamb chops which she said were wonderful.l had steak Alfredo which was very good. Nice ambiance and vibe. Not too busy definitely will be back when I come to town.

Starting out with a clarification comment, you are eating inside a nightclub. I can’t tell if it still functions that way or it used to be one, but that’s the vibe. The photo they have on their page here is actually hilariously a computer generated rendering.
The food was fine. Nothing special. The steak was so heavily (over) seasoned it was pretty salty to be honest. Nothing we had would make us come back just for that.
Vibe wise, the music was hypersexual R&B and the bar wall was lined with TVs playing sports.
Where Grille 55 shines is really the service. Your bill comes with 18% auto gratuity. For that you get to watch the entire wait staff sit at the bar on their phones and blow huge vape clouds into the dining room. I had to stand up and walk over to get my waitress because despite sitting 10 feet from me, she never checked on us once and we had waited at least 5 minutes for the bill.

This place is the best soul food place in downtown Cleveland for lunch and dinner. The music was such a vibe, everyone was around enjoying themselves and talking, listening and enjoying the music. But the FOOD is what truly topped it off. I had the Mac and cheese, greens, and fried shrimp. My boyfriend had the salmon over rice. Both of our meals were to die for! I can’t wait to visit again. Our customer service that we received was spectacular as well. 10/10 hands down.

Food was nicely presented but not really that tasty. It took over a half hour to get our food. Also, 18% gratuity is automatically added to your tab. Our waitress was terrible…I see why they do that. I’m surprised they have so many excellent reviews, but I know how that works. This is a SPORTS BAR, not an upscale restaurant.

I have not dined at the downtown location yet but planning to check them out later this year. My review is for the Mayfield location in South Euclid.
Our first time dining here and the experience was exceptional. The food was delicious, hit, and fresh. The photos are perch, garlic butter mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese. I am sold on the Mac and cheese, and my husband carried on about how delicious the collard greens tasted. The fried greens tomatoes were good and hot. I like them when they are tart, it’s not their fault that they weren’t tart. The produce just isn’t all that great.

Great experience, went in for and early dinner and Candace was amazing! Very attentive, polite and very handled everything in a timely manner concerning it was dinner time. If you visit make sure to ask for Candace!
