This was an awesome experience!! The staff were super friendly and accommodating. When we first got there, they had its sit down in an outdoor waiting area and some of the staff came and introduced themselves. The head guy then came and gave us a little history on the venue and then we packed up the wagons for the ride out to the camp. They pull you to camp in horse drawn wagons kinda like people did back on the old days. When we got to camp, they served us a delicious meal and then did some singing for us. After the show they took us back to the base. The overall experience was really cool and I would totally do it again if in the area.

Our wagon driver, Marin, was a delightfully talented young woman. She was a positively cheerful and entertaining, as well as informative driver. We learned a lot about the horse teams, especially our Belgian Draft Horses, Lone & Ranger. She also told us about some of the local fauna, especially the choke berries and how they have produced so well this year in the Bridger Teton Forest that it has attracted a lot of black bears to the area. It was fun riding in the covered wagon to the cowboy dinner and show. The covered open air Pavillion was nicely heated and had many red and white che Meredith tablecloth covered picnic tables with old fashioned enameled porcelain salt and pepper shakers along with horseshoe designed napkins holders. It was an all you can eat dinner of roast beef in gravy, chicken breast in bbq sauce, corn, special recipe baked beans, salad with ranch dressing, dinner roll & butter. They also had a cowboy cookie dessert and offered, lemonade, water, coffee and hot chocolate. The food and drink were awesome! The show was entertaining and we found out that our driver, Marin, could sing and play the guitar. Her brother, Harim, is a very talented fiddler, who could play while moving around, even getting on top of one of the picnic tables! As if he wasn’t already looking to be one of the most awesome fiddlers we have seen, he upped his game and played the fiddle behind his back. We enjoyed our time with Bar-T-5. This is a great experience for a date, a family or a group. All ages would enjoy this activity.

Amazing! Our evening was so enjoyable and so much of that we owe to Chris and his team! Michelle was our driver/Wagoner and she made the ride so fun with her experiences and stories she shared.

The food was delicious! We were thankful they urged us to go back for seconds. (We didn’t need much convincing).

The covered wagon ride was very fun! It was fun to meet other families from around the country in town on vacation like us!

We hope to make this an annual tradition (and our kids all want to come back and work there)

Wonderful experience! Staff went above and beyond to assist an elderly gentleman in wheel chair. They were friendly, kind and courteous. Atmosphere was great! The owner did a great job including everyone and making them feel welcome. Food was amazing.10/10 Only word of advice, bring bug spray. Once the sun started setting there was alot of mosquitoes.

The Bar-T-5 experience was a last minute add for us while we were in Jackson Hole / visiting Grand Teton National Park. Right from the start the the service was excellent. Everyone was interested in ensuring you have a great time. The “grub” was very good and the entertainment was fun. It’s a kid friendly environment that you should add to your itinerary!

The Bar T5 was a super fun experience. A covered horse wagon through the mountains with good people, good music, and good food. Our guide who was controlling our wagon and horses was super nice, answered all questions, and fun! The Bar T5 band was really good to listen to and the fiddle player was great!! Good time with a lot of smiles and laughs. Definitely recommend for all ages!!

Bar T 5 Review

We really enjoyed our time at Bar T 5—it was a unique experience and a great way to wrap up our trip. It was fun to see the chuck wagons and the horses, and it gave us a glimpse into how things were done back in the day. The horses were massive, which added to the authenticity of the experience.

The food was decent, but the hot chocolate stood out—it was excellent. The live entertainment was fun and added a lively touch to the evening.

Just a heads-up: the smell isn’t exactly pleasant. With that many horses, there’s a lot of… well, you’ll see. So be prepared for plenty of “natural byproduct” around.

Overall, I’d recommend giving Bar T 5 a try if you’re in the area. It’s a fun, family-friendly activity, and a good way to spend your final evening in town.
