Highly recommend to come taste the very best dimsum place.
Thank you for the food and service. I couldn’t wait longer to take photos before eat as I wanted food is hot .
Anw, I will come back to order more . Yummyyyy
I saw this dim sum co from instagram post, so today i try it.
Its located same complex.with My Tuanh Supermarket. Its actually at the backside of it. So you need to go to the back side to order it.
I bought the Siumay and spare ribs to go!
The price excluded the tax 9.25%.
I like the siumay but maybe little bit too soft compare other siumay, but the taste good actually!
They also sell some drinks ypu might want to try, you may see on the menu pictures!
We ordered Pork & Shrimp Dumplings (large and meat filled), Shrimp Dumplings (large shrimp filling but dumpling skin does not fare well as takeout), Turnip Cake (creamy texture with adequate filling), Taro Puff (tasty though wish they were eaten hot and fresh), Crescent Dumplings (shell was not crispy and was too thick), Chow Fun (noodles had a good flavor and chewy texture), Lotus Sticky Rice (good sticky rice with some filling), Vietnamese Ice Coffee (was too chocolate-y in flavor not the sweetened espresso flavor we expected).
They started getting my orders wrong. I paid for things I didn’t ask for but just forgave them because I still got the food anyway.
Recently, I ordered three orders of the fried shrimp balls. I checked the order in the car because of the previous times and got a completely different order than what I paid for. I even made sure to check the screen before paying to make sure the order was right.
I went back to get my order redone, and they outright refused to refund or replace my order. Mind you, it had only been 2 minutes since I left the stand.
Manager sided with the employee, and they refused to look at the camera evidence. They claimed that we put the napkins onto the food, so they couldn’t replace it. We did NOT put the napkins in; we opened the container to check the order and closed it immediately after to take it back. EVEN IF it had napkins in it, why would they prevent them from taking it back? Makes me think if they take orders back, they resell it. Not sure but doesn’t seem hygienic.
My family and friends are no longer loyal customers.
I usually get the typical dim sum items like shrimp dumpling (har gow), shrimp rice paper, fried shrimp and chive, and pork and shrimp dumpling (xiu mai).
Items I don’t like as much: Fried BBQ Bun – had a sweet flavor, so it tasted odd as a savory food item. Chow fun was really bland. Same with fried rice, but technically you can add soy sauce to enhance the flavor.
The Dim Sum Co is a take out only joint that is inside of a grocery store that serves dim sum only. The menu may not be extensive as the sit down restaurants, but all the basics are there with some specialties available only on Friday to Sunday.
The prices are reasonable for the quantity and the quality and taste is better than some sit downs. The trick is to order online so you don’t have to wait outside for your order. Tip#2 come in time when they tell you cause the order will be ready. Tip#3 bring a cooler or a blanket to cover the food for the car ride home so the dim sum stays hot.
$12 for crispy pork with lots of rice. Picked cabbage could be a little more tart but I enjoyed everything
