Update: I called the number that was in the owners response however it was not is service. Such a disappointment.
Disappointing Experience at Amritsar Junction
I’m usually a fan of Amritsar Junction’s food, but my daughter’s birthday celebration turned into a letdown. We ordered food and appies, but the paneer pakora had a hair in it . I didn’t feel comfortable serving any of the food to my guests, which was embarrassing given I’d spoken highly of it.
I called the restaurant, explained the situation, and they asked what they could do. They said they’d call back, but I never heard from them. Ended up ordering from elsewhere, but had to wait even longer and spend twice as much on food which was awkward in front of my guests. I wanted to call back but the fact they weren’t concerned was telling also I had hungry guests and didn’t want to turn my get together into a whole thing.
The food is usually good, but the lack of customer service and concern for the hair in the food was disappointing. Made me question the cleanliness of the place. Not sure if I’d recommend it or order again.

I recently ordered fish tikka from Amritsari Junction, and I was very disappointed with the service.
The staff did not include napkins or cutlery with my order. I initially assumed it might have been missed due to a busy time. However, when I called the restaurant, the staff member spoke to me rudely and said that they do not provide cutlery unless the customer specifically requests it.
I explained that it is difficult to eat fish without cutlery, but instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, she responded dismissively and said, “I don’t care, you can leave a review if you want.” This response was very unprofessional and disrespectful.
As customers, we expect basic courtesy and respectful communication. Good sales are important, but customer satisfaction and behavior matter even more. Without customers, no business can succeed.
I hope you take this feedback seriously and work on improving customer service in the future.

We have visited the restaurant at lunch time. Service was very excellent. We ordered chicken biryani. The taste of biryani was very authentic and real. We have never tasted a biryani like that before .”This hidden gem deserves all the praise! The passion and care they put into their dishes and customer service are truly unmatched. Tasteless, no salt no spices , tikkis are full of fennel seeds (saunf). Taste so bad and bitter , no stuffing in spring rolls . So disappointed with this . I ordered for guest. But still not get any refund even i got the worst food by amritsari juntion 17 street NW.

Visited with my family and everyone enjoyed their meals. From chicken biryani to paneer tikka, everything was flavorful and well-prepared. The portion sizes were generous and prices were reasonable. Definitely a place I would visit again.
