Good food. Poor attitudes from front employees. Nostalgic atmosphere. Y intersection location….location!! Location!!!! Location!! Appears to be in a good spot for passer buyers to stop and eat. Use the one side door not both. Used oil vat is open to the public.

Hubby and I were on a shopping trip in the area (drove in from WV for the evening) and were looking for somewhere new to eat. We love a good diner, but it’s rare to find one out our way that’s open past 2pm, so we stopped in since it was dinner time and Burger Hut was actually open. Soup, sandwiches and fries…the soup was tasty but probably a bit better when it was fresh as the cabbage was pretty cooked down…but the flavors were on point. The fries came in a HUGE portion with cheese on top, and they tasted great. My husband’s Reuben was good, just needed a bit more dressing. I had the patty melt, which was cooked perfectly and had just the right amount of onions and cheese, my only complaint was the meat was lacking any seasoning…so I dipped it in my soup, problem solved! Service was good, very friendly and fast. It didn’t seem that any of the three people working (cook, server, girl bussing tables) slowed down for anything, constantly on the move. The crowd was a bit older, they seemed like regulars and were very friendly to us. It truly felt like a good diner with a greasy spoon menu, good service and hospitality. We’ll be back!

Great place but i’m starting to notice you’re not putting as much cheese on the hot dogs as what you used to and the butler dog does not have as much sauce as what it used to? Your hot dogs are phenomenal.Please don’t change anything and don’t reduce topping!

Great little place for good food, he used to come here all the time when I lived here 7 years ago the food is still good however the prices have actually doubled in the last 7 years, So I can’t say I will be coming back again.

Not impressed with this place. Waitress forgot my fries, never came back to check on us. Brought my other half his chili, before even getting my burger. Bun was like sandpaper in my mouth. Just saying for myself, never again.

Stopped here twice after Sharp Shopper and was pretty impressed both times. Honestly, only stopped because the name made me giggle and I could tell it was going to be good. I’d rather support a small business than a chain fast food if given a choice, and it looked affordable if not comparable in price to across the street. The staff was incredible, super down to earth and the service was fast. The food was delicious and simple and the atmosphere was quintessential Americana. Sitting in either a booth or the bar, it’s a perfect pit stop. The hot dogs were excellent.

Absolutely love this diner. The food is classic and delicious, the service is even better! A great place to go if you’re craving a burgers, or all day breakfast! I love their olive burgers and fries with brown gravy. They never disappoint. If you haven’t been yet, highly recommend stopping in!

Burger Hut 2 in Butler PA… nice classic diner with an emphasis on burgers. Plenty of specialty burgers on the menu along with classic diner food. I had the butler, dog and a Smashburger along with chili fries. The butler dog has chili, onion, and pickle spear on it. The burger was fresh ground beef with fresh toppings. The chili was very thick and meaty, and had a great taste. I wish I would’ve gotten chili cheese fries instead of just chili, but all in all out I give it an eight out of 10. And will definitely be going back.
