I’ll be calling the health department as should everyone else. Shut it down or retrain/replace everyone. Beware.
Edit** the tea gallon was expired, rancid with black mold in the cap. No written prepared date. The macaroni tasted days old chewy bad cheese, the mashed potato was gritty expired, chicken had no flavor full of grease, the apple pie was burnt grease and black on the inside. Also no written prepared date. Didn’t even get my biscuits but maybe a good thing. Terrible quality food inedible. Health and safety hazard. Obvious food prep, freshness and cleanliness violations among others I’m sure.
This was my second attempt from months ago but definitely my last. Last visit was more of a terrible customer service experience. No cooks, no food, short staff, unprofessional, bad attitudes.

They were pretty much out of everything at lunchtime. No buns for the chicken sandwiches no wraps no boneless chicken no okra no macaroni and cheese. I ordered my chicken online. It said my estimate estimated time for pick up is 101. I stood there and waited 20 minutes while they waited on everyone in the store, other than me. Will never enter this churches chicken again and I highly recommend you avoid it. It is not a restaurant. It is a cluster.

This may be politically incorrect, but it seems that in my travels over the last few years when a restaurant has all black women working in the kitchen, The food is gonna be fire! Corporate listen up you need to take anybody you wanna train in the company and send them here. Absolute perfection! Gizzards and chicken.

Waited outside 30 min for order finally went in didnt have half what I ordered lady was very nice and apologetic they guy running the window has no business working there must less window rude an doesn’t like his job this is the second time dealing with him attitude same both times but this will be the last sad thing I been coming here for years

The food is always hot and fresh. The service is mid. The cashier acts as if he hates his job and is inconvenienced by customers, but the lady working with him was very friendly and polite. I assumed she is the manager. The restaurant is cleaner than most Churches and outside is clean. All in all it is a good location to go to. Don’t expect fast or maybe even friendly service.But you’ll definitely get fresh food.

I really don’t want to give it 1 star. My order was not correct and when I actually realized the price was more than what I expected I looked at my receipt and asked her what did she ring me up for. Of course she had an attitude, well every body had an attitude and it’s “MY MONEY” and I wanted a refund, they call the “Manager” and he proceeded to tell me I couldn’t get a refund because it was already rung up…. Ummmm excuse me, at this point I want a refund of my entire order. You can’t tell a customer that they can’t get a refund, especially if it’s something they didn’t want and it’s their money. And to make matters worse he hung up the phone on me, the nerve of him, so very RUDE. I just asked for a full refund if it was going to be a problem….. I see he didn’t want to do that so she gave me the refund amount of the over priced item I didn’t ask for. Customer service just sucked….. the front window worker had the nastiest attitude A’paris H. The other lady that made the call to the “Manager” she was ok…. But these places kills me when they act like this stuff is free and it ain’t.
I will never ever come back to this place again. It’s the location in Monroe, Ga….

As a resident of Monroe I could tell you that the the food at Church’s has deteriorated drastically at this location in the last 8 years. The chicken flavor has been reduced to the taste of burnt oil with a crust covered in excessive amount of flour, which is served most of the time lukewarm to their customers. Place has an unclean unsanitized appearance. Their food inspection score is never on display and customer service is definitely subpar. The Atmosphere is underwhelming to say the least.
