My friend and I decided to try a new place, we came here and we started off with the Oysters they were a good size and tasted fresh, order there clam chowder and it has to be the best chowder so have ever had. Finished it off with a regular burger and fries. Their burger was so flavorful. Service wasn’t to bad I believe our server was Isabel. There beer list was really great

We enjoy places that offer a Happy Hour which includes FOOD options. I do not drink alcohol, but I enjoy trying new places and offering a happy hour menu with food allies me to do that. Clam chowder was good, wings were ok, we did ask for extra crispy but we didn’t get that ( I think many kitchens are on auto pilot and don’t always look at the guest’s request, this happens a lot with french fries being undercooked), dynamite shrimp was good but I could have used more seasoning. Brit was our server and was fantastic. I also appreciated that the other staff members were helping each other by clearing plates, bowls, etc. . Great causal place.

Fine food. Pricey for portion size.

Got the Big Mac for $16. It was tasty but small for what you get. Average burger. I think they have their own sauce but I couldn’t really taste it. Chips were great though.

Service was fine. They took my food before i was done. She was nice and attentive though.

7/10

We came here for lunch/dinner on a busy Sunday and blown away by the service, food, atmosphere. We had no idea this gem was right off the Paint Creek Trail in downtown Rochester. Super cool.

Food was amazing, service was attentive & professional. Ambiance was great! They have seating indoors, outdoors, and tables next to the open space so it’s best of both worlds. Coming back soon!

Amazing outdoor deck that sits along the scenic river. The chopped ribeye sliders and buffalo wings are amazing!

1st time here. Just sold a condo so was there for dinner & too celebrate. 25 -30 min wait was told. Got a table in 10min. Was on the patio. Perfect for the time & the weather.
My partner ordered Veggie tacos with corn tortillas. Not warm enough for him. His side came with House chips. Awesome. I would come here for an order of chips,Sangria & just sit on the patio.
He also ordered a tonic water. Didn’t get BUT wasn’t on bill either. Hence the 3 star service review. But the server was new and being trained. I ordered The house red Sangria. It was perfect. I ordered The 1,2,3 burger. It’s beyond words. I upgraded to the tots. Yummy.
Want to come back & try something else

We were looking for an outdoor atmosphere to enjoy the beautiful Michigan spring weather. Paint Creek Tavern did not disappoint! The JLH Maurice salad was just as I remember, if you know you know. The peach sangria was a perfect light pairing!

Absolutely AWESOME!!! You have to go here if you’re in the area. My Maple River Salmon was off the charts. It’s the second time I’ve had it during our two visits in just over a month. My only negative thought was, why haven’t we come here before. It really may be my favorite meal anywhere. And by anywhere, I mean anywhere in the United States. Sure there’s one little spot, The Ball & Chain in Hobart, Australia, but I can’t realistically go there very often. That said, I’d give Paint Creek straight 10’s if I could. The atmosphere is great, especially if you’re lucky enough to be able to sit outside by the creek. The staff was really friendly and helpful both times we went as well. Really, go there to see for yourself!! I don’t say it often, ok, maybe I do, but I can guarantee you’ll be happy you tried this fantastic little restaurant along the creek in Rochester!

That’s a great place to grab a bite locally. Fish and chips are good! Service was nice and friendly and pretty quick. The place was not too busy on a weekend around noon. The view on the creek and the river is beautiful and very calming. The atmosphere is authentic and nice.
