You gotta try the Molcajete with Mole sauce (special order) – it was insanely perfect. We loved the cocktails as they were unique and inspired, especially the mezcal drinks. Our servers were super accommodating and the decor inside felt classy, even tho the prices were super reasonable. Will be coming back here for sure

My husband and I came in for dinner and it was so delicious. We started with the queso fundido with chorizo, so tasty. My husband had the enchiladas de carne asada and I had the chicken flautas. Food tasted authentic and reminds me of the food my mom makes. (She’s from Mazatlan). The chupacabras drink was excellent and definitely suggested if you like spicy. We finished with a refreshing flan. Overall we enjoy our first time here, and we will be returning!

One the most authentic tastes, I’ve had in a while. It brought me back to my roots. Back when my dad would be grilling outside and the steak had that outside grill flavor. Wonderfully made. On a road trip from Texas and on our night in Vail found this gem. The food was delicious! For a Hispanic girl from Texas, I have to say this was one of the most authentic places I’ve been to in awhile. Leo, or waiter was so awesome and attentive. Definitely a place to try.

My husband and I are were wanting some good Mexican food before we left Vail and I am so happy we stopped here for lunch! The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. The service was great and friendly. The food was phenomenal— we got the queso, the carne asada enchiladas and the Al pastor tacos. The house margaritas were delicious and fresh! We had our twin toddlers with us and were able to get them some yummy food off the kids menu. Will definitely dine here the next time we are in Vail!

Decent Mexican joint. The cocktails were very good. We weren’t a huge fan of the food. The queso wasn’t quite what you’d expect an queso to be and the bone marrow was unfortunately a bit rancid tasting. The Rib Eye Strip Aguachile was pretty good and the Steak Enchilada was ok. The salsa quite delicious and the tacos were probably the meal. Service was overwhelmed although the hostess was super nice and helped out.

I heard that in Vail Colorado, the restaurants are expensive., but not in Del Toro Mexican! We have a good time eating, the food is really good and not expensive. Our server, Liz, she is so accommodating, nice and friendly. She served fast. Honestly, you will not feel disappointed cause their food is amazing! I highly recommended to everyone who loves Mexican Food.
