I called more than five restaurants trying to find the perfect place to host my mother’s 60th birthday dinner. With a group of 22, the night turned out nothing short of amazing. The wait staff was quick, attentive, and incredibly kind, and the owner checked in with us throughout the evening. The food was outstanding, and we were able to bring our own décor and arrange the tables however we needed. Everyone raved about their meals, and we will definitely be back. A fantastic restaurant for hosting both small and large groups.

Ordered the pork chop family meal for 6 to go. Everything was really good. Chops were very tasty & tender. Uber eats delivered the food & didn’t follow the drop off instructions -wasn’t too happy about that. Food came in foil pans with lids. I’ll order again. Only suggestion I’d like to make is to offer different meals, I.e. different meats to equal the meals for 6. Couldn’t beat the price. If you pick up I believe you save the delivery fee & driver tip. Will definitely order again.

Cute little classy restaurant located in the heart of “main street small town America”. Our service was great, and the atmosphere was excellent with smooth jazz playing. However, the food was disappointing, particularly the steak.
The house salad was very nice, the cream of potato soup was delicious with a tasty twist of cumin. The surf and turf mushrooms were excellent. The garlic mashed potatoes were excellent.
What went wrong was the steak. The sirloin was very tough. Difficult to cut through and difficult to chew. It’s very disappointing for a steak house. The grilled onions and mushrooms added to the flavor of the steak. I was looking forward to steak and came away very disappointed.

We made a reservation for 8:30 pm on Valentine’s Day. We showed up a few minutes early and they hit us with a 40-50 minute wait even with our reservation. We decided to be patient and walk around the corner to Unhitched Brewery (which was fabulous by the way). While we were there, we started chatting with another couple who had also had an 8:30 reservation and decided to just eat at the brewery because the hostess at Scratch told them to “try coming back during normal business hours.” A couple members of the staff there urged me to call and check our reservation because Scratch has been known to do weird things. Around 9:15, I called. The hostess informed me that she was just now going through the reservation list and that our table was ready for us. We headed over there and sat down. First of all, the prices are very high for a town like Louisville. The atmosphere was giving run-down diner from the 80’s which was confusing for not only a steakhouse, but the “upscale establishment” that is advertised online. Nevertheless, we ordered and waited on our food. And waited. And waited. It was after closing time when they finally brought our meals out. My steak was ordered medium-rare. It came out blue. Completely uncooked all the way through. The waitress came back to check on us and was shocked when I showed her the steak. She took it back for an up cook and several minutes later returned with my steak that was yet again uncooked. Again she went back to the kitchen with it, returning shortly after with a steak that was nearly well done. I took a small bite this time and let her know that it wasn’t enjoyable. She offered another cut, but at this time it was an hour after closing time and my boyfriend and I were exhausted. All of our food had been cold and unappealing. The cuts of steak certainly weren’t even up to par with our local steakhouse and nearly double the price. I thought our waitress was at least sweet and cordial up until she told me to take my steak home and cook it the way I wanted. Sweetheart, the steak is DONE. There is no undoing a clearly microwaved and overcooked steak. If I could give this establishment 0 stars, I would. We definitely won’t be giving our business to this place ever again as no part of this was worth it.

The food never disappoints. Every time I go, I enjoy every last bite. The owner makes it a point to speak to his customers and make sure they are pleased. The waitress are super friendly and informative about daily specials and deserts. They look after you very well. But most importantly, THE FOOD IS AMONG THE BEST I’ve ever had at any other restaurant.

Let me start by saying this a great value for such amazing food. We got two family dinner meals to go which were the chicken tenders, fresh cut fries, garlic mash potatoes and a salad. Came with plenty of sauces BBQ, I’m assuming house made ranch(delicious), Italian dressing, croutons, and honey mustard sauce. Everything tasted amazing. Only issue I had with the order was we were missing the salad itself, which I would have given five stars but other than that I will definitely order again because everything else was just that good.

Demond prepared two different family meals for my family on Christmas Day (pork chops and champagne chicken and shrimp) and they were absolutely delicious. The truffle Mac and cheese, salad, veggies, and mashed potatoes were amazing! To come in last minute on Christmas Day to prepare meals for us is such a wonderful thing to do, and the whole family was happy and loved every bite. Thank you again, Demond!

We got the Monday special chicken strip family meal. Everything was good. Veggies were seasoned excellent even though we did not get that many. Definetally not enough for 6 people. The chicken was excellent and the fries were great fresh cut fries! Wish there were more options for sides like with the other meals. Also a good thing to offer would be add one for a family meal, such as a salad for 4-6 people.
