Left out half our order. Got home and realized my general tso wasnt in the bag. Spring rolls were gross. My fault for not checking. We live in Madison and wasnt going to drive back. Lesson learned. I do not recommend this place!

We have never ordered Chinese takeout from here until yesterday. The lady running the restaurant was not very kind according to my 17 year old son when he went to pick it up. He saved his food for today and called me at work saying there were multiple black hairs in the rice. I called to talk to the owner and she said “it wasn’t her problem”. She was more concerned about us eating in the next day saying we should have eaten it yesterday. She wasn’t concerned about making that right and apparently “it’s not their problem” if you find hair or anything else in the food. Heads up!

This was our first time getting food and it’s our last. The food was absolutely horrible. I orderd the black pepper chicken and it was dry and no sauce or veggies. My guy got the sesame chicken and he it to was lacking flavor and sauce. The rest was thrown away . It was a waste of money!!!

The employee was very polite, but that is the only positive thing my family experienced. The food had a murky aftertaste, the beef was slimy it had a over all old taste. (Hunan Beef) The chicken wings were over seasoned. Shrimp fried rice also had a weird aftertaste. It was like the rice was done/but not?!?

I am addicted to the fried shrimp appetizer! It is huge ring of goodness! Crispy on the outside and melt in your mouth soft on the inside. It comes with a delish red sauce (like sweet and sour shrimp). I have been back repeatedly for just this one item! It should be street food or a new fast food staple! I had the crispy beef–very nice! The food I ordered is def cooked by someone who enjoys adding taste to traditional Chinese menu items. Great food!

The texture of the chicken (garlic chicken w/green beans) and beef (beef w/vegetables) was bizarre… It was so soft mushy almost. Which was strange because the green beans were beautiful and crisp, clearly fresh. The pork lo mein was just fine, but the other meat, oh my gosh. Our favorite place was closed, so we decided to get takeout from here, and were pleasantly surprised with the easy, completely online ordering experience… But the meat… unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll try it again.

The owners of this restaurant are so wonderful. They are very sweet and kind. Their food is really amazing. Being from California originally, the Chinese food has always been so great out there. After leaving and living in four other states, this restaurant right here in Charlottesville, reminds me so much of the Chinese food in my home state. Everything we have ever ordered from this restaurant, has been delicious and wonderful! We feel very lucky to have this restaurant right in our local neighborhood.

Worst egg fu young I’ve ever had. There was no shrimp or Chinese vegetables, only peas and carrots. Sauce was soy sauce, not thick brown sauce. The only reason I gave two stars is my husband liked his seafood delight.

This is the 2nd time I’ve ordered in 2 years. The 1st time the Dragon’s breath Was pretty strong that day and the food tasted kind of burnt and sour I gave the review 2 stars should have been 1. Ordered recently and the food has greatly improved. I was very happy with the quality and portions. I will go back again.
