Great food, very fresh, the soft shell crab and serlion massaman was devine. It’s not your normal green curry, red curry type restaurant. We had 4 dishes and berry rice. Think of it like Thai tapas. Staff are so friendly, food was so good. Depending on what you order we could have had 3 dishes plus the rice.

Stumbled across this restaurant by chance and we decided to give it a go, we had the lunch menu and it was absolutely divine!! The portions were a great size for the price and the flavours were phenomenal, took me right back to my trip to Thailand, the food was fresh, authentic and beautifully presented, if you love Thai food don’t give this place a miss! The service was great and the decor is modern, cozy and uplifting, a great experience overall 🙂

Genuinely outstanding food and service. The Thai crispy chicken was delicious, as was the Massaman beef and the sea food clay pot!
Lucky to have gotten a spot for two as all of the tables in the restaurant seemed to have been reserved (individual reservations), and now we know why. Staff were very friendly too.
Cannot fault it, it was a great experience and we’ll definitely come back (will most likely book ahead to avoid disappointment).

Just been to NAMO, a new Thai restaurant on Ship Street in Brighton’s Lanes. I must say I was massively impressed. Firstly, Namo is different to your average Thai restaurant. Described as ‘Modern Thai cuisine’, they serve small plates for sharing, so you choose a selection of different dishes. What we had was very different to your standard Thai fare. (In a very positive way) Everything was fresh, with adventurous, bold flavours. Sharing dishes seems to make the whole experience more sociable and enjoyable than a restaurant where you each have separate meals. Happy we all enjoyed every dish. If I had to choose my personal favourites I’d say the Burmese-style braised pork curry and the Southern-style grilled chicken with house pickles, but everything was delicious. The cocktails were amazing. Try the Mekhong Mai Thai (using Thai whiskey) and the Chilli Margarita, both were excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. All in all a perfect venue for a wonderful evening. I look forward to returning to NAMO soon.

Namo is such a special place. Their Thai fusion dishes, inspired by Northern flavours, are full of soul and beautifully done. Every bite feels thoughtful and unique.
The space is warm, relaxed, and welcoming. Bookie, the chef-owner, brings so much love and care to everything. Her talent shines through in every detail.
We couldn’t get enough of the signature cocktails,so delicious and full of character. Already counting the days until we return.

Absolutely amazing! I arrived with a friend and was greeted so warmly by staff and had a quick but lovely convo in Thai with them as well. The food wait time was short, the atmosphere was so calm, clean and beautiful, and the food was PHENOMENAL!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve made it a mission to bring my favourite people here with me again, cannot wait to come back soon!

Had a delicious lunch here yesterday with an 18 year old lad who usually isn’t very adventurous and who had never eaten Thai. He loved it!
The food is very good and well presented. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the decor is extremely tasteful.
Congratulations all round.

I’d not had a chance to eat here since it opened, but popped in for a quick lunch just before Christmas. The lunch menu had a great selection, I got the rice with Thai sausage.

The first bite took me right back to Thailand! The flavours were perfect and really good value for money.

I followed it with a dessert; icecream, mango and warm rice. It was delicious, not too sweet.

I had the Tom Yum margarita alongside this. Beautifully presented and just as tasty. A great alternative for the spicy marg fans out there!

Can’t wait to go back when I have some more time to try more of the menu!
