Again, SeaGull Seafood Restaurant is located in downtown Bluefield, Virginia. They are open 11:00 am to 9:00 pm every day, seven days a week.

Ordered a pick up order, ordered oysters when arrived they did not have. Ordered chicken livers when arrived home they were not in bag. Ordered fish n chicken combo did not receive sides that were suppose to be included. Ordered burger and it had no taste, dry. Fish and chicken did taste good but sure would have liked to have received what I paid for. Although was told when called them I can get livers free next time I come. Free seems like I paid for them already. Should have took note when walked in a couple was getting refunded. Good luck to them. But think we will pass on this one.

It’s better than your basic fast food fish place but similar. Place your order at the counter, get your own drinks, and if it’s busy, watch for your food to come up. The cooks know what they are doing, and the food is tasty. The serving staff are friendly but seem somewhat new at serving. I had the fried flounder. I got the extra piece for $5. It was salted and peppered just right. The red beans and rice had a nice flavor, and the coleslaw was good but seemed store bought. Overall, it made for a very satisfying late lunch, and I will definitely be back.

Absolutely phenomenal job. 100 percent recommend this fine establishment. If you are even thinking about choosing any other seafood restaurant, please try this place first. I have eaten here 3 times and have never had 1 complaint about the cleanliness, service, people, atmosphere, or food. Absolutely hands down the best seafood restaurant until you get to the actual ocean.

Our experience with Sea Gull Seafood was disappointing. We were in hopes of finding a good sit-down seafood restaurant for our anniversary. The reviews sounded promising, so we drove the 40 miles to Bluefield to try it. When we got there around 1:00 PM, there was only one other couple eating there. Uh-oh. The server placed the menus on the table and said, “Bring ’em back to the counter and tell me what you want. The drinks are over there.” So much for charm. We placed our orders for the whitefish with mac and cheese and green beans for my wife, and fries and coleslaw for me. The place looked like they opened before finishing construction, and it was cold inside. The tables and chairs seemed like they didn’t go together, with the chairs being low and the tables high. When our food arrived, the fish was covered in a thick cornbread batter you had to use your knife to cut through (lots of breading to make up for the lack of fish), and my coleslaw was tasteless. Coleslaw should be tart with a touch of sweetness, and this was neither – just cabbage and carrots with a dollop of mayo. My wife’s green beans were greasy, so much so that the fat congealed on them while we were eating. The hush puppies were small and sugary – who the hell puts sugar in cornbread? I think we would have gotten better food at Captain D’s. All in all, this outfit’s going to have to up their game if they want to stay in business.

We decided to give this fairly new restaurant near us a try and I’m so glad that we did! The atmosphere is lovely. The service was great, very friendly! And the food was delicious! (Especially the hush puppies and corn on the cob!) Many options can be gotten grilled or fried. Even my super picky 8 year old loved it! Definitely a much welcomed addition to the area!

Food was ok. Crab cakes were very good. Food is very fried but I guess that’s to be expected? One thing I would recommend is changing out the dining chairs. Theyre cloth and a little nasty.

We had a great dinner! The flounder was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The tasty crab cakes were large with a crispy crust and the grilled shrimp was very flavorful. Red beans with rice and green beans had a nice kick. Our service was very welcoming and friendly. You need to try them soon. We enjoyed our experience and will be back very soon!!

Was not sure what to expect walking in, but I figured it was on the way home and worth a try. The place was very clean and the staff friendly. I got my food to go and was in and out in less then 15 min. I got the cod and oysters. I was fairly impressed and will be back to try the rest of the menu out! I also loved their tartar sauce and cocktail sauce they definitely make it in house!

I ordered the grilled fish with shrimp. The seasoning was very good with the sauteed onions and peppers. The hush puppies were good. We ordered some grilled corn sticks and they were seasoned well. The restaurant was very clean and the people were friendly.
