Last night was our second visit, and certainly not our last. It was absolutely delicious. We were honestly surprised the place wasn’t packed because every single dish was cooked to perfection.
I ordered the filet mignon, it cut like butter and was incredibly flavorful. My husband had the NY strip, and it was just as amazing. The sides were so good, too!!
If you’re looking for truly good food, a chef that cares about what he’s putting on the plate- this is the spot. You will not be disappointed. The waitresses were also so friendly and welcoming, it genuinely felt like they enjoyed what they do, which made the whole experience even better.

Emilio’s is truly a hidden gem. It’s a wonderful spot to grab breakfast, brunch or lunch.
They offer excellent fresh choices, featuring organic Mexican cuisine. The service was fantastic on our first visit.
This is a small place, with indoor and outdoor seating (weather permitting). Limited free parking.
Highly recommended.

The food was delicious and whoever thought it was a good idea to prepare the home fries the way Emilio’s does should be elevated to Sainthood. I was a little disappointed that the omelette, which had some pico de gallo on it, was not at all spicy. The entire meal was mild but otherwise still very flavorful and with a perfect amount of restraint and balance.
I ordered takeout and ate in my car since I’m traveling with dogs.

Honestly, its becoming embarrassing how much we cant get enough of this place. What started out as our occasional breakfast spot, has now also became a favorite for lunch and dinner. The food is never not amazing. Everything is so fresh you almost taste it before it hits your mouth because the smell is so amazing. Presentation is beautiful. Specialty drinks are so delicious. Soups—dynamite! Desserts—outstanding!! Never had a meal that wasn’t 5 stars. Went for NYE dinner and it was perfection. Service is always top notch and the place is spotless.

We come visit every summer. We discover this place last year. We absolutely loved. So we came here immediately first day after arrived. I want to mention something happened on Monday. A little accident happened to my son. The young nice waiter she probably is new she spilled our orange juice the whole cup and a little strawberry drink all over on my son. She was shocked keep apologize. And I totally understand her worries so I keep tell her is ok. We were going to beach after breakfast. So later i think the owner wife(maybe?) she offered that two drinks on them. But in the end the owner gave us the bill only the orange juice took off. That was our first day I didn’t want make hard for anyone. Especially the waiter I don’t want her feel bad all day. But I was a little upset for how been handled by owner only! I learned people take advantage on you if you consider them more than yourself. Can you imagine it happened to an adult…Yesterday we had pizza by the beach the waiter gave us the wrong salad. In the end she didn’t charge our pizza we didn’t expect that. The owner I hope you can handle better than that next time.

This is an excellent restaurant! I was so fortunate to discover this venue. It is quaint, professional and the menu is very high end.
I had the most delicious tuna tartar, and my scallop dish was divine. All was presented beautifully, and the scallop temperature was perfection.
Julie was an excellent server and made me feel very well taken care of. I also had the pleasure of meeting Emilio, who is a very nice person.
I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant.

EVERYTHING about this place was perfect, starting with the warm and friendly welcome, the cozy atmosphere, and the wonderful menu selection. My Maple Pumpkin Latte was beautifully prepared. My party and I chose the Traditional Pancakes, which were fluffy and perfectly moist, complete with strawberry jam. Emilio’s Omelet was perfectly loaded with chorizo and perfectly cooked eggs… not runny, not dry. Center Ave and The Crab’s End were delightfully plated and amazingly delicious. All of the egg dishes were accompanied by potatoes that were perfectly seasoned to a beautiful reddish-brown. This undoubtedly became an instant favorite.

From breakfast, lunch, and dinner- we always get the best meal! Everything is so fresh and delicious. So many different menu items to choose from, plus they always have specials. The owners and staff are so kind and welcoming, you feel like you’re eating at your friend’s house who happens to be an incredible chef. Now they have an additional location in Belmar- but we are lucky to have them in Atlantic Highlands.

We celebrated our anniversary here tonight, and had a wonderful experience! Breakfast and lunch has always been excellent, so we decided to try their dinner menu. I appreciated the white tablecloths for dinner service, along with fresh flowers and a candle on the table and soft music in the background. We brought a special bottle of wine to share, as the restaurant is byob. Service was friendly and attentive, and the food was fresh, cooked perfectly, and delicious!

The Google review pictures are completely wrong from what they were serving. No burgers or eggs at all. The portion sizes were ridiculously small. Food was underwhelming and Google says the price per head is about $20-$30. It is most definitely more like $35-$100. So its like some sort of lunch spot during the day maybe but then becomes a mediocre expensive steak house at some point in the evening. Was looking to try something new here and was already not sure what to expect when we walked in but man I definitely felt robbed here. I was so confused when our meals arrived thay I thought I had maybe walked into the wrong restaurant. Nope its just that different from the Google pictures now.
