What a charming experience having a meal at this very downhome restaurant. I saw there were two negative reviews. Obviously those reviewers had no idea what to expect and shouldn’t have gone. The experience is more like being invited to a neighbor’s home for dinner. I grew up in the south and truly enjoyed the food and the experience. This is home cooking and it was very favorable. And I loved the peach tea which another reviewer couldn’t even be bothered to remember the name of the drink. If you are looking for quick service, chain restaurant quality, this is not your place. If you are wanting a great old southern dining experience, arrive early in order to get a seat.

Been in Ga for years and never knew about this quaint place. Only 3 items on the menu cooked fresh when you order. Food was excellent, Great peach tea and great desserts all included for a super price. The owner Nikki and the Staff are some of the most pleasant people you will ever meet. Eating here is like going to your aunts or grandmas house for dinner.

If you want something unusual and a home feeling atmosphere, this is the place. This place is usually packed and you may have to wait. Nikki and her helpers are awesome. The menu changes except for on Monday it’s spaghetti with sides and Friday is fish and grits with sides. The other choices vary each time. You may walk in and be greeted and if the place is packed, you may not and will have to wait. The beauty of this place is to think of it as a huge family reunion gathering. Just speak up or go to the kitchen, you will be helped. There is so much to look at here, Nikki knows no stranger. Don’t be surprised when you leave you are hugged, true southern tradition…. Y’all come back now.

This womderful place will forever be in my memories. The lady that runs it opens momday and friday. It is a set menu… we had peach tea, salad, shrimp and grits with fried fish and a salmon cake and your choice of homemade desserts. She hugs you on the way in and on the way out. What does this cost.. $10 dollars a plate and you lave the cash in a coffee cup. The world needs more humans like this lady!
