One of the best meals we had during our stay in Taormina. This lovely resturant felt special, slightly tucked away from busier spots.
The food was fresh and delicious. The tuna and mahi mahi in particular were divine. Our waitress was lovely and friendly, and helped us find a bottle of wine to suit our tastes and dishes.
We loved this place, would definitely come again and would thoroughly recommend.
A small note, there were some male members of staff that made us feel a bit uncomfortable at the end. We think they were bar staff, and were a bit rude to us when we enquired at the end of the meal about getting the bill.

The best meal we had in Sicily. Charming location just off the Main Street in Taormina. A great menu with lots of options to suit all tastes, most being local delicacies. I had the pork pasta, rabbit stew and cannolo which were all super.

We landed at Tischi Toschi after trying to get a seat at other restaurants without success. They were able to accommodate us right away, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very charming. We enjoyed that it was a bit tucked away from the busy areas. Our server was very attentive! As for food – the fennel balls were incredibly delicious and unique, but the mains were a bit smaller than we were hoping for the price point. The food still tasted great though!

Not the experience I expected. Quite unwelcoming waitress. Thought she was mad at something. Tasteless Bread. Caponata was okay, but Spaghetti with Bluefin Tuna Caviar smelled really fish, felt it’s from rotten fish. Cod with mashed potatoes were just plain, mediocre at best. When I asked about a few other menu like cuttlefish salad, she simply said it’s a summer menu. In January, thir menu indeed are quite limited. The worst experience I had in Sicily

Tischi Toschi is another hidden gem tucked away on one of Taormina’s many enchanting little side streets. It’s a laid-back spot with colorful plates and food that feels wonderfully true to its Sicilian roots.
We went for the classics: wild fennel balls and pasta alla Norma and spaghetti with sardines. they were as comforting and delicious as you’d hope. The setting is adorable, with both indoor and outdoor seating decorated in traditional Sicilian style, giving it so much character.
And then comes the magic: while you eat, the owner strums his guitar, and if you’re lucky, local musicians might appear in the street to play traditional Italian songs – even the Godfather theme . It’s an experience that’s as joyful and authentic as the food itself.

Very good restaurant in the center of Taormina. Even though it’s right off the main road, it’s tucked into a small alley, so you’re not bothered by noise or heavy foot traffic.
The polpette al finocchietto were the highlight. I had never tried this dish before, but it was incredibly fresh and flavorful—truly excellent.
The pasta al carrubo was also a pleasant surprise and really enjoyable.
A great spot for something a bit different in a peaceful setting.

Very nice dinner in Toarmina. Of note was the parmigiana and the artichoke pasta. The fennel balls also very good. I found the tuna a bit disappointing hence the 4 stars. All in all a very good evening on the terrace of this small and tasty restaurant.

A tucked away restaurant filled with tasty, local dishes. The Carob pasta, stewed tuna and eggplant parmigiana were the highlights of the evening. Everything was very fresh and didn’t leave you feeling heavy.

Absolute must when visiting Taormina. The restaurant is split into two either side of a terrace, one side is more “bistro” compared to the other side a bit more formal, however when we were here (off season) both served an identical menu. Fabulous food, great service, lovely wine … what’s more to want?
