The new owners will be changing the name to Monterrey. They are slowly remodeling and will be changing everything to the new name in the near future. Great service and the atmosphere will be great once the remodeling is complete. The food was good except for the chips. My wife and I prefer the thin warm chips instead of the cold thick chips. They make thier own spicy hot sauce that brought the heat but had great flavor. The menu will be changing with some new options coming soon. Will definitely be back and looking forward to seeing the improvements

These folks accommodated me 10 minutes prior to closing. They provided free chips and salsa. I ordered a Michelada and the presentation was superb outfitted with orange slices, grilled shrimp Mexico flags and a cherry on top. Got an order of the QuesaBirria. It arrived quickly with 3 tacos, consome, salsa and a side of rice and beans. Everything was very appetizing and delicious.

It’s Monterrey now.. we loved it! Margarita was top-notch. Fresh guacamole, hand made at our table right in front of us. Best guacamole we’ve ever had. I had the birria street tacos, and they were very flavorful, and the meat was so tender. We also had Pollo Adobo, which was very tasty and plentiful. Dessert was a spice cake filled with Dolce De Leche with delicious ice cream. It’s one of the best desserts I’ve had, ever. We were very impressed with everything and will certainly be back often.

I ordered the Treo Fajita with shrimp, steak, and chicken. I could tell the difference between sliced sirloin steak and sliced beef, but we were served beef strips and frozen, seasoned chicken, which was horrible. To top it off, the broken AC system made it unbearably hot. My guess is it’s in the process of closing down. The strawberry margarita was not good at all, no alcohol what, so ever.

Burrito Caliente was the highlight of the meal. If a burrito, chimichanga and fajita had a flavor bomb baby. Shredded chicken rice and beans formed the perfect bite every time.
Flaco taco street style tacos was seasoned perfectly. Was pleasantly surprised with the side of beans and rice.
Beef hard taco was palatable nothing to leave the house for.
First sip my margarita on the rocks was unpleasantly warm giving me the impression that the margarita wasn’t properly mixed at the bar but improved as the ice chilled it.
Queso dip had just the right amount of spice and is extra tasty when you mix it with the table side salsa.

Its Monterrey! New look new menu! Order the Burrito Vallarta! Oh my! I have never had this kind of flavor! We ate slowly and as my daughter says, “my mouth is so happy” Everything we ordered was so tasty. The service was fun and on point. The atmosphere was great too! New upholstery on the seats made the place vibrant and new. Make your way passed Twin Peaks and come here! Have a margarita!

I had an amazing experience at this Mexican restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. One of the highlights was when they surprised us with upgraded margaritas—what a treat! They had such a wide variety of flavors and options, and each one was absolutely delicious. Ours even came with some kind of sparkler fireworks!
I ordered the chicken and shrimp Queso Flameado fajitas, and wow—what a flavorful dish! Perfectly cooked, bursting with rich, savory flavors! The portion was generous, and the presentation was Fun!
Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. Definitely One of the best Mexican restaurant experiences I’ve had in Mississippi. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

The Burrito caliente (actually a chimichanga) is AMAZING. It’s the only thing you need to order when eating here, (Youll never accept another chimichanga again) thank me later. The margarita was only $6 on a Sunday and it was super good too!
