This place is amazing, if you want some of the best food with the best service, this is the place to be. When we walked in, the owner greeted us with the warmest welcome, like they knew us for years! The owner proceeded to take us through the menu and let us taste everything! We learned so much and had the best experience here, the owner was so kind and taught us how to properly eat fufu with our hands! 🙂 The food was incredible and the atmosphere was so lovely! You can tell that love was poured into this restaurant and each dish that’s served. Thank you so much for an amazing dinner and experience!

This was our first time trying Nigerian food and it was an amazing experience! The atmosphere felt exactly how my kid described it..home-y, vibrant, and very authentic. The food was absolutely delicious and very filling. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, providing great hospitality and service. We truly enjoyed everything. 100/100 recommend! I had an amazing experience. I was taught Nigerian etiquette in a very informative and kind way. I was taught how to clean and eat with my hands, but silverware was also provided in case I needed it. I was given samples of the menu items and an indepth explanation of what each dish was. As well as phonetic break downs of how each dish was pronounced. I was treated with the utmost kindness and compassion. I’ve truly never been to a restaurant with better service. The food was delicious and healthy however a bit on the spicy side (which is totally fine). I’m so greatful learn so much about Nigerian culture without the need for a plane ticket.

The food was incredible! If you aren’t sure about trying something new, I say go for it! Everything was delicious and the owner was even willing to help me learn about the menu items and even how to eat them (dip and swallow vs chew for example).

Never wanted to write a review faster, never eaten food faster. Was so happy to find Ade Food African Kitchen open after a long drive on thanksgiving day, and yes it was giving. Everything was warm and flavorful. l got fried plantains, beef meat pie and pounded yam wrap all three were so delicious. The staff and owners were so sweet and were happy to give samples. You get a great amount of food for the price. Can’t wait to bring others here definitely a highlight in New Albany

Giirrlll just walking into the store already greeted with AMAZING attitude immediately felt so welcomed. I had to try the fufu and egusi, everything is soooo flavorful just packed with seasoning. It’s hot and ready to go! Absolutely will be coming again, im up to try new things and the atmosphere here is so welcoming to new people! She even let’s you try some of the food as well! Absolutely wonderful

Me and my family came here for the first time I was so excited to try it. We ordered the Jollof rice, fried fish, Efo Riro mixed with Egusi and Fufu. We also got Puff Puff and Plantain as well. Everything was made fresh and my kids loved the Puff Puff so much the owner gave us some extra to take home for my children will be coming back again .

It’s a family run restaurant, and they were so welcoming and hospitable that I felt like I was visiting their home. Ade had me sample different dishes since it was my first time. Last night was my very first time trying African food, and it was absolutely amazing! The food was so flavorful and comforting—fufu instantly became my new favorite dish. What made the experience even better was how welcoming and kind the owner/staff were. She let us sample a variety of dishes so we could really get a feel for the flavors, and every single one was delicious. She was so sweet and made us feel right at home.
If you’ve never had African food before, I definitely recommend giving this place a try. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.
