So good! I ate solo at the bar and everything I ordered was perfect. You can taste the freshness. I was informed they source all their food from select farms and vendors (the list is on the front of the menu). Amanda, one of the friendly staff members behind the bar, recommended I add shrimp to my beet salad. I haven’t ate shrimp in years since most imported shrimp contain toxins. I made an exception and I’m glad I did. They were delicious! I’ll be going back for more of their seafood since they seem to have the best.

I also had the hearty “small plate” lamb meatballs and scallops with leeks. All amazing

At The Regional, the vibrant atmosphere is matched only by the exceptional service provided by Amanda, the beloved bartender who brings a unique flair to the dining experience. Her creative cocktails, such as the refreshing the Happy Juice, perfectly capture the essence of the season and complement the restaurant’s focus on locally sourced ingredients. The menu features a delightful array of dishes, all made with care and attention to detail. Amanda’s warm personality and engaging conversations enhance the welcoming ambiance, making guests feel like part of the family. Whether you’re enjoying a casual meal or celebrating a special occasion, The Regional, with Amanda at the helm of the bar, promises an unforgettable dining experience!

The staff was friendly and genuine, the atmosphere was up beat but not overwhelmingly loud. The food was absolutely on point without exception. The service was prompt without being intrusive. The cost was reasonable, especially for the flawless experience. This is the meal we will remember from our weekend in Fort Collins, and where we are sure to return. My girlfriend and I left in a much better mood than we arrived.

It’s quite good!

Dining at this price point I don’t demand perfection, but I will give some (hopefully constructive) criticism.

My main gripe with The Regional is related to value – everything is just $5-10ish dollars too expensive for what you get (in terms of quality and proportion), in my opinion. It’s not nose-bleed pricing, but it is one of the pricier restaurants in town, and there’s some pretty stellar competition in this range.

My other wish is for better acoustics. The hard, flat surfaces really can make the dining room feel loud when it’s primetime. I would love for some calming measures here to make the space more cozy and high-end feeling instead of raucous gastro-pub.

Lastly, while I haven’t been there enough to really speak to breadth of the menu, I have occasionally wondered if it’s robust enough on the food side. On the drinks side, there are plenty (and they’re good), but sometimes it feels like alcohol is actually crowding out food in terms of space on the menu.

With all that said, service and staff are always on point. And I’ve never left feeling unhappy about my meal. I do like The Regional, but usually I prefer going to a few other places in town at this price range.

We arrived at our 6:15 reservation time. 2/3 of us sat and waited for water for 20 mins. Once our 3rd person joined us we finally got water and felt rushed to order drinks/food. (abt 45 minutes into us sitting). We were approached 3x about there being a reservation at that table soon, and felt extremely pressured to move (7:10). Out of respect and feeling that pressure we opted to move to the bar, feeling off put and weird. At that point in the manner we were asked (by a manager, not our server, Maddie was a great server) we were sitting at the bar waiting for our food, questioning if we should just cancel it and go elsewhere. If we were serviced sooner, we could’ve ordered sooner but we sat there ignored (about 2 other tables sat and were watered around us in that time of us being ignored). Just because 2/3 of us are sitting should not mean we are ignored! The food was good, pricey and small portions, but because of the service I will not be back. Our waiter heavily insinuated we would get a round of drink for free for the inconvenience, then they still stuck them on the bill. We asked about it and they took 2/3 of the drinks off. The friend who’s drink was still charged felt personally attacked because he was the one who stood up to the manager on moving, (I was the one who said ok let’s just move). My friends were chatting about how we felt we were treated and the manager came over to us and chewed them out about it. As guests, we are allowed to discuss our treatment and concerns. I wasn’t there for that part, but I approached the manager (maybe owner too?) once I heard this happened and wanted to at least resolve it a bit. As someone who is a manger and used to be a server, that was no way to treat guests- and I let her know that. I tried to be respectful and just came to her as such. She took zero accountability, didn’t say sorry, and pretty much blamed the fact that we were waiting for another person and took too long to order. I politely told her my side, which was that we were ignored for so long that we couldn’t even order! Leaving with ruffled feathers and a bad taste in my mouth I left and I would never eat here again.

Excellent! We had an absolutely delicious brunch here and will return. Scratch kitchen (focaccia!) fab crispy potatoes, fresh veggie omelette with homemade hot sauce, fresh squeezed OJ & amaze coffee. Super cute comfy space, music, full bar & great friendly service with Wendy this morning. Highly recommend!

Found this great spot on Google. Had to try since it promoted a deep fried mushroom, they no longer have, but they had other fantastic food items. Like their Poblano Grits. A must have!

The biscuits and gravy and the carnitas are SO GOOD! It’s hard to find such good carnitas anywhere else. Everything is super fresh and it’s apparent in the quality. The chefs and servers obviously love their jobs <3
