We are repeat customers – our boys love the spicy soup!

staff: Always friendly. Fast & efficient.

service: orders are taken quickly. The part that might take the longest is finding a table – it is first come first serve for table claiming. Good to keep an eye on table movement while you line up to place order.

establishment: it is a small space with not many tables. Good parking options outside.

food: always fresh and flavourful. Pho is not greasy and great flavour. Great portion sizes. Spring rolls fresh & crispy. Salad rolls fresh and full.

Phở Dù – Oriental Noodles Bistro truly impressed me. The menu is simple and focused, offering noodles only (no rice), which really lets them perfect what they do best. The pho was rich, clean, and full of flavor, with generous portions. Prices are insanely friendly for how good the food tastes, and they don’t even accept tips. Honest food, great value, and absolutely worth returning for.

Delicious Pho. Friendly and fast service. The noodles were tender, lots of ingredients: beef brisket, rare beef, tripe, tendons and beef balls. Great price. All Pho bowls are under $10. I was excited to see a red chili with the Thai basil. I love red chills with pho. The most expensive was the vermicelli bowl at $11.85. Still great value as we had 3 shrimps on a skewer, grilled chicken and 3 portions of spring rolls. 3 salad rolls with chicken and shrimp for $5.75 is a great deal. I would have preferred the chicken to be alittle hotter but it was still good.

No frills restaurant. You walk up to the cashier, place your order and you are given a glass for either water or fountain pop; then you get seated.

If you are starving, you might need to order a second bowl or order the appetizers. The noodle bowls only come in one size.

Given how expensive eating out is these days, we had 3 bowls of noodles and salad rolls for just under $40.

I have eaten over 200 Vietnamese pho restaurants all over the world in my lifetime and I have to admit Pho Du is one of my top 10 favorite places to eat Vietnamese pho noodle in Edmonton. Today was my first time eating here and I was very skeptical at first since their pho noodle was priced at $9.95 per bowl. I did not believe the price until I tried their food and I was totally blown away. The broth was very authentic and tasty, the portion was quite generous, the spring rolls are crispy but the fish sauce dip is AMAZING! I love the fish sauce dip flavour, it is so well made with so many rich ingredients blended together that you don’t actually smell and taste that smelly fishy sauce in it, it was very well executed in disguise. The restaurant ambiance is set-up like a fastfood restaurant where you order your food and pay first before you are being seated. Keep in mind, this is NOT a formal restaurant. However, I do like their simple business model operation they created where you order, eat and go as soon as you are done, this is not a place to socialize for hours. They use all the fresh ingredients and the soup is served HOT, not cold which I like. At $9.95, a bowl of pho noodle is a very good value for what you pay for especially in this challenging time and economy. So for those patrons who are complaining about their service/food, you should be grateful that this business owner(s) has kept their menu price really affordable. In fact, they are being generous so therefore, we should support their business 100%, this is a win-win for the owners and their customers. I have tried other pho noodles priced at $20 or more at other Vietnamese restaurants in the past and it didn’t taste that great. At the end of the day, the value of what you get is absolutely WOW and the quality of their healthy food is truly amazing! I am coming back there again even if it takes me 25 minutes of driving each time I go back to Pho Du because it is so worth it!

I went here with my other half and he was skeptical from the outside of the store at first. But inside is nice and the price is amazing in today’s economy. Soup is good for $9.95 bowl of Special Pho Du noodles and they gave lots of meat. They didn’t have their debit card machine working but luckily we had some cash on here. You pay first at the counter and drinks is self serve. Food was served right away within minutes of ordering and sitting down. However, the meat was still raw and pinkish red – I got diarrhea right away after getting home from the restaurant.

Saw this restaurant in a video by FoodGuyYEG and had to try it out. One of the cheapest Vietnamese noodles we have ever had and the taste was pretty good. Soup wasn’t as flavorful as I would have liked but the price and quantity pretty much made up for it. We ordered the number 4 (Vermicelli Deluxe) and number 6 (Special Noodle) which came up to a total of $23!!! Absolutely unheard of!!! Portions were very generous, the soup noodles were pretty good. I didn’t like the spring rolls in the Vermicelli Deluxe as it was pretty dry but the dish itself was very refreshing with all the vegetables.

This place is not like a regular restaurant, you enter the building and will see a counter with a menu board. You have to wait to be seated after you have placed and paid for your order, no tipping required. The cashier will hand you a cup to grab your own water from the pop dispenser (this was a little tricky and I had a hard time using the dispenser) before you find yourself a seat.

A server will bring your food directly to your table along with a condiment dish. This place reminds me of a cafeteria/restaurant. Read the reviews about this place and there were many who felt the service was pretty bad but luckily, my cashier was very pleasant so whew…..

Will definitely go back again and hopefully the experience will be the same.

By far, the cheapest price you’ll pay for pho. It’s not the best you’ll have but it’s good enough. The menu is rather small, but it keeps things quick and efficient. There is a vermicelli rice bowl you can order if you don’t want pho but everything else, outside of appetizers, is noodle soup.

The good about the restaurant is order at the counter and hence no tip is required. $10 a bowl of regular sized pho is pretty good deal, but the taste is on the lighter side and can be tuned up a bit. Since it is no tips restaurants, expect self service on sauces and water.

I’m a frequent customer of this restaurant. The vermicelli bowls and pho are consistently good, although I find the portions bigger when you dine in versus take out. Service varies depending on the customer (the cashier girl smiles only at some customers).
