As it turns out, we wanted BBQ today. We were helped by a nice young man at the register. He was very patient with us since it was our first time there. When we were done, the manager, Paul, came over and checked to see how our meal was. The whole experience was great, and the food was delicious. I got the baked potato with brisket on top! and my husband got the 3 meat plate with brisket, turkey, and jalapeno sausage, and a side of mac & cheese and green beans.

If you like marbled, moist, tender, perfectly seasoned, smoked and expertly cut brisket. The best in the area is smoky Mo’s off oak run Parkway.

We needed to cater a New Year’s work party for 40 people. We tried all the BBQ places in New Braunfels, including the local and big name places. This Smokey Mo’s location had the best, consistent quality. The crew had the brisket, chicken, and sausage packaged and ready on time. It all tasted great and everyone enjoyed it, eager to take any leftovers home. Thanks to the team for a great product and service.

Portions are way too small for the price paid. I also didn’t appreciate the smoky smell everywhere. The mac and cheese was not “homemade” – you could tell that the cheese was the canned type. Brisket was okay. I wish you could get more bang for the buck.

I just moved here to central Texas nearly 2 years ago and decided to try this place today. I have to say, the pork burnt ends are hands down the best I’ve had in Texas. Those may be the best pork burnt ends I’ve ever had. We also got half of a BBQ chicken and the jalapeño sausage. The chicken was perfect. Juicy, succulent and very tasty. The jalapeño sausage wasn’t too spicy and wasn’t to mild. Just right and very juicy. I am so glad we decided to try Smokey Mo’s TX BBQ. They far exceeded my expectations. I will most definitely be coming back to get more pork burnt ends and to check out the rest of the menu.

We had family come in, took them for good BBQ. Greeted when we walked in, meat was carved and served quickly. The chopped brisket in gigantic baked potato with jalapeno, loaded with the delicious warm BBQ sauce is my fav, take half home, it’s big. The turkey in the sandwich was moist and delicious. NO BETTER CHICKEN ANYWHERE!!! All the sides are delicious. Fill your own fresh brewed Sweet Tea, lots of ice, makes it even better. Don’t forget the Oreo or banana pudding Best BBQ in New Braunfels.

I’ve never had a single bad experience here. The staff are always friendly and courteous. The BBQ is very tender and juicy. I’m not a big fan of brisket, but I really enjoy theirs.
