Ordered the 7″ lunch pizza special with choice of 2 toppings for $6.99. Was quite good and filling for a lunch item. Bathrooms were clean, friendly waitress. Unfortunately I felt bad for the owner having to pay bail and/or attorney fees trying to keep her doors open during Covid. Wished she could have put that towards updating the decor. In all fairness, I believe she has a loyal customer base probably because the food was good and very reasonably priced. Good Luck Marlena’s. I also think covid restrictions caused part of our economy demise.

Won’t come back. Waitress had orders wrong. Took 45 min to get food. When I did get it. It was cold. They put a slice of cheese on my scrambled eggs. Weird. Menu seemed awesome. Lots of variety. But they need young waitresses that can remember and keep up maybe. Idk. Has potential Also forgot to mention the hair that I found in my pancake that I immediately gave back to the waitress. If I were you I would not come here

Ate here for the first time today. The menu looked really good for breakfast and we heard so much about the place and Marlena, so we and some out of town guests tried it. Food was horrible. Flavorless and barely cooked. Service was mediocre but would have overlooked it had the food been good. We went home and ate after paying for breakfast there.

I enjoy eating at Marlena’s in Holland. She serves some of the best food in Holland and the portions are great for the cost. The whole staff makes you feel welcome from the time you enter till you leave. Your bigger chain restaurants don’t. Your just another dollar to them not a customer. Service is great. If you’ve never eaten there I recommend you do you’ll not leave disappointed.
