Ordered delivery. The Catfish sandwich was mediocre, the fish had no season, just a ton of sauce. The fries were good and a huge portion too. But the chicken and sausage Gumbo was a huge fail. I got a 1 cup scoop of rice, and a big container of broth and 4 tiny pieces of sausage. No chicken. And it tasted horrible. Picture of gumbo included without broth to show what you’re paying $13 for.

OMG! Authentic Cajun cooking. Their food is delicious and fresh. The owners are very friendly and personable, we were talking with them while we ate. We will definitely be back. This is s trip worth taking and the food is of the highest quality! I can’t express how GOOD it was the next day! I got the catfish po-boy and my honey got the alligator po-boy, both with seasoned fries. We shared etouffee fries and they were AMAZING! We each had half our sandwich left over and when we ate it the following day, it tasted just as good, cold! We also bought a quart of dirty rice and red beans and rice to go as a side for grilling the next day. Well worth the price. I love this place!!

I got the boil shrimp. It had so much flavor. Very good. Came with 1 pound of shrimp, 1 corn, boil onion, and potatoes. I added a Sasuage. The cook definitely boiling the food in seasoned water. Added their home Cajun season to it and butter made it even better. Definitely worth it.

Absolutely amazing! I had the limited time boudin poboy and DAMN it was amazing a perfect spice mix within it. As well as the Catfish Arcadian (best seller) was through and through amazing. Gumbo was also good. But the star of the show is definitely the people, they deserve all the attention of San Marcos and are extremely friendly. Definitely make sure to keep up with their Facebook as updates on there are frequent!

I have been dining at Zydeco Jeaux’s for over a year. The menu has expanded considerably and I was even (pleasantly) surprised to see tacos available! Shrimp tacos. My all-time favorite, tried and true dish is the chicken gumbo… can’t go wrong with that one!

If you’re looking for great Cajun Seafood in the San Marcos area, this is definitely the place to go! It’s a little outside of town, but definitely worth it!

I have been here two times, got the shrimp po-boy with fries, catfish Acadian, and the jalapeño boudin balls! Loved it all! My only complaint would be the catfish needs to be way crispier with the catfish Acadian! Would be excellent without the ettouffe! (And u save money)

Passed by numerous times and decided to stop by,orderd the gumbo(taste burnt, not good and didn’t have a gumbo taste) boudin balls(not a boudin flavor more like dirty rice and were burnt) bread pudding(only thing was good)…I don’t like giving bad reviews but I’d rather be honest since I spent almost $30.00…

Fantastic Eats and great LA Hospitality. The shrimp poboy with zydeco sauce will be your instant favorite. Can’t go wrong here. The seasoned fries will keep your taste buds guessing as to what is in the mix. Spicy but not overpowering. The inside secret we hear, is the boudin poboy, our next visit choice. They even cater to dogs with picnic tables under a pole barn. Well worth the drive from SAT.
