I used to regularly stop at this location and the one off of 28. That was 7 years ago. I stopped at this location yesterday and was disappointed. One slice of Foccacia, but the Tobasco and A1 sauce I used to enjoy were missing, ketchup isn’t a suitable replacement. The slice itself was missing the shine of fat on top of the cheese and the flavor just wasn’t there. I Wish you guys well but I won’t be back.

The pizza was fine and okay but when I got the 2 fried calamaris and the bacon cheese fries they both came with no flavor, very stale, undercook, the fries were burnt and tasted very stale and when I had called the store about it all they tell me was to call DoorDash to get a refund and straight up hung up on me no we apologized for that sir no sort of etiquette. Very unprofessional and it was from the store manager himself and I literally never write reviews but I felt very disrespectful with this one

Don’t get your pizza from a big corporate chain, get it from Tony’s. The menu is comprehensive and will have you wondering how much you can realistically fit in your stomach. The staff were personable and kind, and service was quick. We had our meal in front of us in under 10 minutes, and it was completely consumed in as much time. We couldn’t pass on the desserts, so we got two cannoli and the almond cake. The almond cake made me pause to appreciate life. It was categorically the best cake I have eaten to date. And that’s saying something, because I eat a lot of cake. Dont think twice: go to Tony’s!!!

I’ve been going here for many years for takeout and have always loved what I ordered. However this last time I was really disappointed. The veggie calzone was so plain with little flavor. The linguine with clams and shrimp was excellent tasting as usual but not only had the the price gone up but there were exactly 3 clams and 3 shrimp. Wondering if there is new management here.

Im happy they call this place New York Pizza so they don’t create any kind of expectation making people believe it’s an Italian pizza . This is honest and direct . I had a “calzone “ with sausage and pepperoni and it was good. It would have been amazing if they kept it simple with the two ingredients and some cheese instead of adding extra veggies in it. Here you can see some photos

Ordered two large pies w/ extra cheese & hot wings. New employees in there so I gave them benefit of the doubt. The pizzas were over baked. Hard crusts and bottom and definitely wasn’t extra cheese. & chicken was FRIEEEEEED!

This is one of those places that really needs no review. It has always been amazing since I first started going over 30 years ago. The photo is the mixed plate. Absolutely filling and for a lil over 10 dollars it’s an amazing value.

I have eaten at their different locations for years. When I worked in Gainesville, I ate there at least once every 2 weeks. Fantastic pizza, very authentic NY style with their thin crust. lots to choose from, by the slice, the steak and cheese subs, the cheese cake, their salads… This place is a dying breed. One one the few authentic Italian neighborhood restaurants left in the DMV, the quality is always on point, and the steak and cheese subs are not something a normal person can eat with a side of fries. those 2 slices in the picture were $5.75 and I was full. bigger then they look. So this is one of my all time favorite Italian restaurants in the area and probably my favorite if you separated this into it’s own category of local, family style New York or New Jersey style pizzerias. unpretentious – authentic – consistent – generous – value

Definitely a very American pizza. Got a 16” pepperoni. Super greasy and cheesy with a floppy crust. Not for me
