Excellent BBQ! They do a fantastic job of pulling the fat out of the pork, so it’s all high quality meat. I had the loaded stuffed potato and it was delicious. Fried zucchini was a perfect appetizer. My BF and I were walking around sightseeing when we started smelling smoked BBQ, we knew we had to stop just by the smell of it. Service was quick with seating us and taking our orders. We both ordered St Louis Ribs with Mac n Cheese, Baked Beans and Texas Toast with Sweet teas. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS. Ribs were smoked and juicy falling off the bone. Baked beans were SO good and so was the Mac. This was the best BBQ we’ve had in Northern VA. We will most definitely be back soon.

If you’re looking for seasoned meat, or sides, this place isn’t for you. We called and spoke to the manager, later introduced as the owner, to tell them the food is unseasoned and Peggy told us that’s because they don’t season so everyone can enjoy it (with their 6 different sauces). So if you want to eat meat as a vehicle for your sauce, this is your stop.

Wow fresh still warm pork rinds. Yummy peanut butter and chocolate milkshake. I asked for a thicker one and was accommodated. Thank you. It was delicious! The place is cute. Looks like probably mostly take out. Maybe because we went on a day when a storm was coming.

Visiting Fredericksburg VA from Newark NJ. I was looking for some good BBQ and ribs with sides. Let me tell you the Pig Pitt was a waste of my money! Ribs definitely not worth the hype. Cabbage was leaves not chopped or cut up and very bland. The same for the collards. The mild sauce was the only thing worth while. If you’re looking for good down South food don’t order there! me and my wife wasted $80. Very dissatisfied. Oh and the potato salad was tasteless. Pig Pit invest in a black cook for real greens and potato salad. Y’all don’t have a clue!! This post will be shared all over social media platforms. You’ll learn today!! 0 stars!!

You know how you want a place to be good, you want it to be successful and you appreciate good food and service. Well I made the mistake of trying to support a local business and help them out. I just spent $34.80 plus an $8 tip on food so bad my wife and I can’t eat it. The BBQ was leftover from the weekend. Stringy, no Smokey taste, just warmed over protein. The sides I got were ok, greens and potato salad. Which brings us to my wife’s meal. 1/2 chicken and I swear to God it is not edible. A warmed over 1/2 of chicken left from the weekend that really had a very strange aftertaste. Folks, I ate school cafeteria meals that were far, far better. Had it not been take out I would have demanded my money back and I have never done that. Now to be fair, maybe I caught them on an off day with new help. The girl taking the order couldn’t have been nicer, but come on owner, you won’t make it serving meals like this. So if you are the owner and want another chance, I’ll save the receipt and come back on your nickel, if it’s good I’ll sing your praises, but if it’s bad this review stays. Also, those going in demand to know that the protein you are getting was prepared for that day and never frozen.

Y’all. Go go go go go to this place! It’s freaking delicious and amazing! Hush puppies and cornbread: delicious. Collard greens and Mac n cheese: delicious. Ribs: juicy and falls off the bone. Brisket: fantastic flavor, beautiful smoke ring, fat immediately melts in your mouth. I wish we could try every thing today, but we are definitely coming back so just gotta try some new then! ☺️
