Since 1995, The Hill Tavern’s bustling bar scene and classic pub menu has been a neighborhood favorite. We have been named “Best Neighborhood Bar” multiple times by The Improper Bostonian and we take pride in making everyone feel like a regular patron the first time they walk in the door. Catering to local residents, tourists, and the downtown business community, The Hill always offers great food and drink, fun people, and friendly service. We are open for lunch, dinner, and late night food seven days a week, as well as brunch on Saturday and Sunday. We hope to see you soon!

Delicious food, generous portion, and great ambiance. We went there for a late dinner. Arrived there and couldn’t believe they open till 2 AM daily!! There were around 5 people when we arrived and around 10 when we left at around 11 PM. Lots of TV showing sport programs and music wasn’t too loud. Typical tavern feel with lots of wooden interiors. Expansive food and beverage menu. Lots of options for beer on the tap. But this night we didn’t drink so can’t really comment on that. But boy, the food was delicious and the portion was generous! We ordered clam chowder, wings, caesar salad, and shrimp risotto. Usually we don’t waste food, but today around 20% if the salad we couldn’t finish. Service was good and quick. Would definitely recommend this place!!

Nice place with a great beer selection and pretty good chowda. I’d probably skip the nachos and get more tacos as the nachos were nothing special. The carnita tacos those were another level of special, the perfect flavor and heat combination absolutely get them.

Was our local bar when we stayed there for a week. Really friendly staff and a great selection of beers, on tap and cans and bottles. Had a meal the last night. My Italian sausage pasta was tasty and filling and the burger was lovely. As British tourists it was a great go-to place.

We stayed at the Wyndham hotel right across the street, so we came here two nights in a row. We had a couple beers and ordered two apps. The guacamole and chips are very good. The pretzel however I would not recommend. It is not your typical pretzel, it was more like a deep fried bagel twisted to look like a pretzel. Draft beer was cold, bottled beer not so much. Our bartender was nice, did his job, however not on the super friendly side. You can tell this place has bar regulars who were happily greeted. No complaints. If you’re passing through, it’s a decent spot to sit and grab a drink with a few friends. But don’t expect to feel that warm at home vibe.

This is a popular spot and I highly recommend eating here.. We ate here twice within a 3 day period during our vacation. We ate their very delicious fish tacos and the fish was very meaty and tasty. We sat outside to enjoy the atmosphere. These were by far the best tacos ever.

I loved this tavern, our waitress was super nice, helpful and fast. They have a great and big selection of beer, drinks and food. We order tenders and OMG they were so crunchy and delicious and i loved that they were mostly chicken and no bread like in other places. Natural fries not frozen (delicious) We even got just regular coffee and it was great. Please eat the lava chocolate cake, you won’t regretted i couldn’t take the smile of my face while eating it. Very very nice, cant wait to come back for the 50% appetizers offer.

Hill Tavern is a local pub that have a bunch of beers on tap, lots of things canned, and really good food. They have seating inside and outside, with music playing and a really friendly staff. Quick service, good prices and great taste means a good experience here. Anything pulled pork is really good, and tater tots over fries here for sure.

Good place. Prices are affordable, plates are quite big, food quality is not the best but our salmon with mashed potato was good. Nachos though were not the best nachos in my life.
