I will never go to this place ever again. I called because the last time I got a salad there were barely any veggie toppings up there. I called to let them know, and at the end of the day I still ended up with a salad with barely any cucumbers and tomatoes, AND bad pieces of lettuce. Their customer service on top of that stinks. There is never an apology for it. Just excuses. A customer should never have to be victimized and made to feel like you’re in the wrong when you are the one spending your money. I liked it when I first tried it, but they have gone way downhill. Whoever is in charge, please retrain on proper customer service. When a customer has an issue, you should never argue with them. I worked in customer service for 10 years, and I would have never done something like that. UNACCEPTABLE!!

The Virginia Beach Bonney Rd location does not deserve stars at all due to the abhorrent customer service, on an ongoing basis, specifically delivered by the manager “V”. We have ordered EVERY week from this location for years, and every time there’s an issue, “V” never starts off with an apology; instead, she goes back and forth with excuses. This location has served my husband spoiled chicken (discolored and smelly), and “V” tried to justify the problem, but then offered a depthless and insincere apology. Today, our salads had black, wilted, and withered lettuce in it. Instead of apologizing, she went on and on about the type of lettuce that was in the bag. My husband was very patient with her as she disregarded what he said and proceeded to over talk him, so I took the phone.Then of course, she became defensive. I concluded the call by informing her we have opted to no longer order from that location and her response was “ok, thank you”. Having the opportunity to service customers for most of my life, I couldn’t imagine having anyone on my staff who has no regard for the customer experience.

Never again, I literally just came from here. This is the second time we’ve been here and they forgot to bring our food out. Tipped $4 on curbside order. Actually called to let them know I’m here and the woman that answered the phone acted like she couldn’t find my order then said she’d bring it right out. Meanwhile after 15 minutes waiting in the car with my groceries getting warm (I thought maybe they just didn’t make it yet) I decided to go in and my pasta salad had just been sitting out on this table. Maybe don’t consider tipping for curbside if they’re just gonna forget about you and let your lunch get cold on a table. BTW I ordered 40 minutes before I got my food so who knows how long this has been sitting out.

I want to give a big shout out to Tamara at Gourmet Gang on Bonney Road. I had a large order for a client meeting today. Tamara took the order around 10:15 am for 10+ – salads, wraps, chips, cookies and drinks. Quite a few orders had substitions. The food arrived perfectly and on time at 11:45 am the same day. Everyone’s name was on the order which made it easy for me to set up. Everyone enjoyed their meal! Tamara and Gourmet Gang – thanks for making our lunch a success and making it so easy for me!!!

If you want a great salad that you can split into two meals. I always get my orders prepared quickly and haven’t ever had any orders messed up or missing anything. And the workers at the Bonney Rd location are always friendly and accommodating.

The best all around catering experience!!! Jenna in the catering department was such a HUGE help during the selection process. She went above and beyond helping me select a menu and the appropriate amount of food. Then on the day of the event, I was blown away. The food was delivered and the presentation was SPECTACULAR. Thinking it couldn’t get better, the guests started eating and EVERY SINGLE ITEM was delicious. I want to have another party just so I can have to beef and red onion chutney and those delectable stuffed baby potatoes. I think there may have been a fight for the last couple baby potatoes by the end of the event. Thank you sooooo much, Gourmet Gang, for making my daughter’s graduation party such a success.

We used delivery for our lunch orders. I ordered the Chicken Salad on multi grain ciabatta Lunch Box. This comes with your choice of chips and your choice of a large cookie. Absolutely delicious and I am stuffed. Fusion chips are a mixture of flavors, tasty. Fast service and excellent food!

Unfortunately, I used to love this place I just started eating here about a year ago. I worked close by this restaurant location so it was always easier to order from this location. The last few times I order there my order was wrong, but this very last time I FOUND HAIR IN MY FOOD… I wish I would’ve taken a picture but I was more focus on getting my money back and going on about my business because I understand things happen, but for me that unacceptable. I did get a full refund, and I will no longer will be coming to this location. I prefer to go to the Greenbrier location instead.

Catered with this company for breakfast on a Friday and the food arrived a little later than anticipated but everyone really liked it. I had a last minute lunch meeting that needed catering the next day (a Wednesday) and decided to go with G.G. again since everyone seemed to like the food on Friday. The food is not where the review loses 3 stars, the food is good although a little on the pricey side, it was absolutely the service. When I called to make the order the person didn’t ask for my name, phone number, or what time I’d like the delivery. I had to call back to offer this information. She also took the order incorrectly and I guess it was a good thing that I had to call back the next morning to pay for my order or it would have been completely wrong and there would not have been enough food for this meeting. I asked that the food be delivered between 11 & 11:15 (the ticket says 11), the meeting started at 11:30 and I needed this time to set up. I called around 11:17 and asked if the driver was near and the person on the phone said that they had just left 10-15 minutes ago and arrive soon. (They were supposed to be here by that time.) Needless to say the driver got here after 11:30 and our meeting had already started without the food. I was very disappointed as we spent nearly $1,000 within a week and with the way the customer service fell short I might think twice before I cater with G.G. again and my company caters several times a month or more. The food was good but the service really fell short.

I ordered a salad and it took a long time to get delivered, However the manager Kelsey and other staff were super kind and considerate in rectifying the situation. I was refunded my money and enjoyed the salad when it arrived. I will 100% order here again and I DO recommend them to everyone!!!
