In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, “to meet Pan Am stewardesses.” Suddenly, there was a place with great food, new and exciting drinks and an electric energy. A place where bartenders mixed the environment just as well as they mixed drinks. In short, a place like nowhere else. Today, Fridays in Manassas, VA is still America’s most iconic bar and grill. We embrace and celebrate our heritage as a bar. One that just happens to serve killer food in an environment where it’s always Friday.

Great restaurant, great service, great food! I came in when visiting the city to grab some lunch and the food was incredible. The ribs were delicious and falls off the bone. The whisky sauce was incredibly tasty. The pasta was made just right, the chicken and shrimp was very soft and tender. The waiter was very courteous, friendly and professional too! Also, the restrooms were little people friendly!!!

The food was very greasy and tasted OK. Our waitress didn’t really come around too often after getting our order. We got the cheeseburger and chicken parm. We got mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. Our bill came to 50.00 before tip for the 2 of us.

I ordered the whiskey glazed chicken strips and this is what I received, this is the second time it has happened and it’s super frustrating especially when they charge $15. If you guys know you can’t deliver the product then take it off the menu! Don’t take it upon yourself to substitute it for something that isn’t even close to it and expect the customer to deal with it

They got my order wrong & Sent me all the wrong food.. I went to go get my reorder and this is what they gave me.. Sliders on half Burger buns cut 1/2.. There’s more but I just don’t feel like typing.. Won’t be ordering again from them… And to be honest I probably would’ve never ordered if I known Uber eats was ordering from them … it didn’t say Fridays APPS ALL AROUND…

If I could give a zero I would! Do not go to this restaurant. The service has always been slow but the food was amazing. The bartender there is always nice and we enjoyed having him. Two weeks ago we ordered an appetizer, no appetizer came. The waiter told us he was having a horrible day and was miserable and wanted to go home. Our entrees came out and I said okay maybe they forgot and let it go. 15 minutes after our entrees were served the appetizer came out. Yesterday, we went there and ordered an appetizer and 2 entrees. The staff were cheering in the back and a waitress behind us said “I want another shot.” 1 entree came out and the other one never came. We asked 2 different people to get our waiter, a manager, get our check, and they both walked away, and started casually chatting with other staff. This was my first time ever having such a bad experience that I said something. I would never in my life return to this establishment.

It was a Saturday night and couldn’t figure out what to have for dinner so my son suggested we go to Fridays. We arrived, were seated promptly and our very courteous and friendly waitress Tosha introduced herself and brought us our drinks while we decided on what to eat. My son ordered the Chicken and Shrimp Cajun Pasta (no peppers), and I decided to try the Whiskey-Glazed Sampler with a side of French fries. Our food arrived and we decided to dig in right away. We enjoyed our meals thoroughly and it was very delicious. Initially, we had plans to go grab dessert at a nearby donut shop after our meal. However, we noticed there was a really cool looking rainbow cake that was available on the menu for a limited time. Instead of going somewhere else, we decided to give it a try. The cake came with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream and was colorful and very good! All in all, I was very pleased during our visit. Not only was the food great, but the service was amazing. I hope to visit again soon!

Location was short staffed but very accommodating. After finding there was a wait for seating I considered take out. The service crew seated us and served us takeout from the bar and provided seating. The hostess, bar staff, and wait staff were very courteous and attentive.

Honestly I was very surprised how slow the service was and how long things took with how dead it was on a Friday night. The waiter didn’t even come over for a drink order until about 15 min after being seated and most of the tables that had people (all of 4 or 5 with about 4 different waitstaff that I saw) were all in the same area. The food was not very good. I dunno if it was an off day or what. Do not get ice water… it does not taste very good. I don’t usually leave reviews that often but it was just not a good experience.
