I wanted to try the local Chinese food here and this one had less ratings than the other. So I tried the other one first and it was okay I hated the rice at the other place but I thought that was as good as I was going to get kinda disappointing. Than I decided to give Taste of China a try! omg delicious the rice is perfect and the sauces have lots of flavor. I do request for my chicken to be crispy that’s not a problem with them and I request spring rolls instead of an egg roll that’s not a problem. I would have given them 5 stars but the decor on the inside needs some help. But that’s not a problem for me I take mine home and put on a movie and get comfy!

Went in to pick up a take out order and was leary on eating my food. Place needs soap and water along with a good mopping. A fresh coat of paint wouldn’t hurt either. Got home with the family to eat and no one was impressed. Food has no taste. Go to Dragon King, much better.

My favorite Chinese restaurant located in Beaufort, NC. Everyone is always so nice and I,believe this to be family owned. There children have grown up here and are very respectful to all customers. The children have been here so much that they take orders in as well as work the register and are the first people customers see.

The taste of the food is okay but there are random bones in their boneless chicken and i hurt myself pretty bad biting on an actual pebble in my plain lo mein. Its not worth the taste for the pain and surprise random choking hazards. Go to Dragon King.

Pretty bad… ordered a PuPu Platter and a honey chicken dinner “combo”. Normally a combo comes with soup, appitizee, egg roll… here it’s just an egg roll. The PuPu platter is shown as having fantail shrimp, it was the small ones instead. The ribs and teriyaki steak was shriveled and dried, looking more like jerky. The checked wings were dry and almost black with oil tgat needed to be changed. All this was $20+ the honey chicken was okay, but not worth ever going back. Just sad and unappatizing. Also, I did take out and they didn’t put any cutlery or napkins, nor duck or soy sauce. Waited 15 minutes for them to prepare, and it was freezing in there… no heat in 40° weather.
