Went into the building to order. It was pretty fast for being new and busy. The food is good for what it is. I usually get the meat and potato burrito and a side of beans. Sometimes donut bites, they are good to share. It’s decent enough fast food without waiting in line for 30 minutes at a Topeka Taco Bell and it isn’t like having some greasy hamburger at some other fast food place.

First trip and I know they are new and very busy, so if my next trip is better I will come and update. I didn’t get a picture but my fiancés chicken strips were literally the size of a chicken nugget at McDonalds. In their defense who gets chicken strips at a taco place. Lol. My tacos were greasy but otherwise not to bad l. Pictured is a quesadilla that they obviously forgot to grill. Fingers crossed next time is better!

Got completely wrong order. Actually got more than what I paid for but not what I paid for. My fault. Didn’t check the bag until I got home but if the young minded employees paid closer attention to customers and what they are paid to do these simple mistakes wouldn’t happen. Plus my ole’s were Luke warm at best and soggy like they were old or under cooked. 1st time I had a bad experience there since they opened. Usually the food is hot, fresh, and fast. Will give another review again in about a week.

The food is good for fast food tacos. Their speed of service is sofa king slow that I could have made my own tacos at home faster. And they will probably forget to give you your sides of nacho cheese.

I was really looking forward to Taco Johns again but it isn’t as good as I remember. My biggest complaint is that the taco meat has been cold the three times I have been there. I don’t know if that how they want it but cold meat just isn’t that good. The chicken burrito was hot and the potato oles are good.

Manager was friendly but the service was very slow. Ordered the taco salad. Very disappointing. Huge flour shell with almost nothing in it after waiting 10 min for a 30 second item I got back to work and enjoyed all three bites of it. Boo!

4 stars because the new gas station itself is very nice and spacious and clean inside. Taco John’s was just kind of bland however. Staff was ok at best and the food just simply didn’t do much for me. However, to be fair I will try it again soon just so I know it wasn’t just an off day. The Sbarro’s pizza however is insanely good and their pieces are very competitive. Bread sticks are hot and airy and the combo can’t be beat. I would definitely do Sbarro’s over Taco John’s.

Ordered a bean and cheese burrito for my daughter… didn’t get it. Got bean and cheese and onion an not just a little 1/4 of a whole onion. idk who puts onion on a bean and cheese burrito unless requested but apparently they do. it’s also not on the menu to specify if it came a certain way. the potatoes and cheese there are good but that’s about it in my opinion. slow service even tho they wernt busy.

We have given them 4 strikes. 1. Multiple times we ordered burritos to get only refried beans in them, no meat. Then, they didn’t have enough change so they rounded down and shorted us our change due back to us. Said sorry we don’t have change.
