This is my husband and I first time trying this place and it was better than we expected. I told my husband I wanted to start finding places that cook food that makes you feel at home, at big momma house or a family event. This place made me feel that way. Great portions and a lovely homemade food experience. My husband got the Large 4 piece catfish meal that came with 2 sides, hush puppies and a drink. I got a Turkey bacon cheeseburger meal that came with fries and a drink. He had some of my food to try and I had some of his, 10 out of 10 for both meals. The workers there were helpful and nice and your food comes out at a reasonable time. Place is a nice size as well. We definitely will be back ❤️.

Totally worth the detour off of I40. We were there for Sunday lunch plates, had the meatloaf and the roasted chicken. All were delicious and appreciated by these hungry travelers! There is no question it’s a local favorite as they quickly filled nearly to capacity while we were there.

I put coffee in Google and this café appeared. I walked in and a pleasant gentleman told me they have a fresh pot of Joe for me but no specialty coffee. As sad so was I fell in love with this cafe! They said they will start serving SOUL FOOD ON the weekend! Not sure if that is happening now! But yummy yum yum!!! I believe he said Sunday’s. I took my coffee to go and got 5 slices of Turkey bacon to go! Delicious my birthday dog enjoyed but I had some to it smelled too good!

Sweet Poppas Café is settled away in North Little Rock, AR. I was looking for a new place to try some ribs. I ordered rib dinner with french fries and bbq beans. The ribs were tasty, smoked, and tender. I called about 10 minutes before I got there. The food was temperature hot. The loaf bread was fresh. The coolaid of the day was “red.” They serve wing sandwiches and more. The dine-in is open.
