Much to my surprise this place is a must!! The serving sizes are enough for multiple meals and the food was so so good!! The menu has such a large variety you could eat there everyday and never get tired of it! The staff also were so kind and patient!

Sooo yummy! For breakfast you must have the Nutella and Banana Crepes. So creamy and delicious with a huge serving. Went back next day for lunch and had the grilled chicken and artichoke heart panini. I picked the crispy French fries for my side as opposed to 2 choices of pasta salads. The panini was perfectly grilled and delicious and I had to take half my sandwich home. Their menu is big and varied to suit any diner’s appetite❣️ The service is fast and friendly. I’ll be back!

We’ve been to the Peoria, Illinois location several times and have always been impressed by the service. We always order a breakfast item from the menu. The portions are very large and we always take home at least half of our order. The food is very good and for the amount you get worth every penny. My wife and I always recommend Sweet Basil Cafe to our friends and family. It is a great place to have a fantastic meal.

Absolutely expensive for breakfast for 3 people over 75.00. I think the food and service was absolutely not up to par for the pricing. Staff are not friendly. I highly do not recommend! My husband and I recently went to Clinton, IL ate at Another Lil Restaurant spent less 22.00 with tip for an amazing breakfast. We went to Ted’s Garage also an amazing breakfast at good prices. I think the people here think eggs are like buying a steak absolutely ridiculous. I got the breakfast burrito and ate one bite and it’s placed on the hash browns why? To make them soggy? My husband and son got the country steak breakfast and it tastes like it was old or freezer burnt. We spent that much money to bring it home for our dogs!

Outdated atmosphere- service was nice the employees are so kind but the menu is huge and the food was just average. The cost of the meals is overpriced for the area and I ordered a simple gyro skillet and pancakes and the food was way over cooked. Mostly bland and the pancakes were hard to tear into. It made me never want to go back but because I heard good things about it – I gave it a try. I have faith in this cafe but they truly need to cut the menu in half and put more effort in the Quality of the food vs the quantity.
